What happens to our unemployment payments during the severance.? I'm already receiving payments from the furlough but what if we don't get a job once the severance kicks in. Do we get both payments at the same time?

I received a call this morning from management. My role no longer exists. We're supposed to get follow up emails from HR at some point.

If you are a very long-time employee, though not your choice, it might be to your advantage to be part of the current layoff. As happened at so many other companies, severance will be reduced before each new layoff.

In my case Mvd, previously on furlough. Having many recognitions in the last years. Any clue of the criteria applied?

I am hearing lists are being made and ranked according to different categories. Not just those furloughed but alot of others are going to take deep cuts with the TN re-org.

My whole team was just laid off as a cost cutting measure. I don't Sabre though. I do blame the media for over hyping the corona virus threat and causing this virus hysteria.
