Does anyone know if there is still a non compete if you are laidoff and recieving severance?

If you didnt choose to leave the company, they cannot enforce a non compete
Sabre will only be concerned about non-compete for execs. If you are one worry about it.
If your severance contract has a non compete clause. You can scratch it off and initial and date it as well as make copies of agreement. If they accept it than you have no non compete clause. I went through that already.
Yes, Sabre will expect non-compete to be enforced.
Sabre does not have big California presence that I am aware of, but non-competes are not enforceable there.
Amadeus is not doing significant hiring.
You sign one when you start at Sabre.
