I know I will be one of the 800 layoffs for sure. At this point, I only care about if Sabre is going to pay severance package and accrued PTO? Anyone has any intel about this?

Accrued PTO is a yes
In HR town hall, it was stated that laid off employees get paid accrued PTO
On mvd severance would cover an extra of what they are legaly obblied if you sign a letter that you wont claim any other payment.

According to TX Pay day law
Payouts of accrued leave are required under the Texas Payday Law only if such a payment is promised by the employer in a written policy or agreement. The payout would be controlled by the wording of the policy or agreement. If no such policy exists, the company would not owe such a payment.
Company changed policy last year if I remember correctly but I think in March there was a statement from HR policy to pay acquired pro on separation was temporary reinstated. Same for severance there was a policy published on HR but I have no idea if it changed or not and whether this would be considered as aforementioned company policy which in turn is enforced in TX
Neither required by law in TX unless they were specified in your employment contract so it depends on how generous they are feeling. Unlike the last comment, I think there's more of a chance of being told to burn your pto prior to layoff day than to get stiffed on severance. Voluntary people got both, for what that's worth.
Of course you will get accrued PTO. They calculate it. Not sure about severance if it wasn’t in your contract.
Accrued PTO is definitely a No!
Really not sure about that, but isn’t it required by law? How are you that sure you are in that 800? Do you mind share your business unit?
