Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Retention Bonuses

Has there been any mention of the retention bonuses for the exec class at Sabre? Just curious exactly how much they awarded themselves while laying off 800 employees

I bet SM is just relieved he no longer has to endure that temporary salary cut so he and his family can get back to the standard of living they are used to. After all, since he came on board Sabre has had such great revenue reports.

It is just obscene for execs to be granted so many free stock options by their cronies on the board. Even at $8.50 per share SM was granted over $7 million just in June alone, and he and the other execs get stock option grants every month!
I know SM will claim that this costs Sabre nothing, but it dilutes the value of the stock. Sabre could have easily kept the folks who were laid off but were too busy stuffing their pockets. Disgustingly greedy!

Have a look at the investors.sabre.com website and search for SEC filings. Read the form 3 and form 4 filings. For example, Mr. SM was granted a bit more than 855,000 restricted stock units on 6/15/2020 at a cost of $0. Other executives received lesser grants.
