Find work somewhere where your dedication is appreciated

Even if I survive these cuts, my priority will be to get out of here. The lack of job security is the primary source of stress for me and working hard to increase your chances of survival is almost meaningless when it comes to cuts here.

I think I looked more shell shocked than some people who were affected. The reason is that these people who were cut were some of the best employees. Is it possible that this company no longer needs talented and capable people? All in all, very... — read more

Today they laid off 5 managers and 4 managers from yesterday. Two associates from another department. Multiple specialty and core funders. They released people based off PIP, below strong and favoritism.

disgusting and incomplete management

It's year end calibration and everyone is asking those they know to give them good reviews so to stay alive during forced ranking for end of year reviews. Many executives in IT and Cyber and Risk are completely unqualified and never had the... — read more

I'm nervous about layoffs

All the major banks have had significant layoffs in the last several months. I'm thinking we might be the next on the list. And no, for those who want to claim we're a technology company, we're still a bank first and foremost. And banks are currently... — read more

No room for growth

wrongful promotions and corruption

Their is a documented rule if you are new you can't be promoted unless you've been there for 2 years. Also, you can't do skip level promotions, ie, skip a level even if you're justified. So the corrupted SOBs got around that by promoting their... — read more

High attrition

This place is like working in Panem, you're going to be in a Hunger Games contest with your co-workers. It's easily the most backstabbing shithole I've ever worked at.
