If you do not get the promotion or the review you expect, it is not your fault, blame the company, your boss, your ethnicity, gender or se-ual orientation. This is exactly what is ruining our country. Everybody is a victim in these really sad times. Boo hoo kiddies.

the only deadweight is management who schemes with the execs to maintain the status quo. managers and execs take credit for work done by individual contributors then turn around and sat they're not performing but stealing credit so they are ranked higher to save their jobs. That's deadweight right there.

Lol. Yes, there are a lot of victims posting here. They are victims of nepotism, gangism, regionalism, casteism etc etc. All of these situations are unethical and illegal, but must be too woke for you.

Nepotism or favoritism towards certain persons is a bias towards other persons.
So many people on my team were hired because they worked together previously. So what's wrong with that? They then break the rules and promote one another quickly and sabotage the others.
What the original poster said we all want it to be true, but if you have worked in C1 you will know it is not true, today I got to know that one of the ADL got hired back not because he/ she had the skills but because she happened to be a friend of Senior Director who opened the position just for that person. So tell me where is the professionalism and who is a victim here. This place stinks of nepotism!!!!
Men can harass other men and women. Women can harass other women and men. The combinations and permutations are many if you take into account all variables. It can happen to ANYBODY. Don't throw stones at others, if you live in a glass house.
I've seen less competent people hired or promoted because they were hired by their friends or former bosses. I've lost track of the number after 4 or 5 people in my area.
So true. This is what you can expect when you raise a generation giving them everything including participation trophies. Everybody is a winner!
