Thread regarding Capital One layoffs

True cost of cheaper workforce?

The leadership obviously thinks that a cheaper workforce will solve a lot of problems here. I think that a cheaper workforce will bring more harm than good. The time will show.

I can guess who the joker is, but he is just the senior joker at the tip of a chain of jokers 😂

Hmmm. Not all Indians are jokers. There are little cliques that get rid of anyone who isn't aligned with them. Lots of talented Indians were also harassed till they left or got manipulated out via calibration.

But I do agree that there is a bunch of folks from TCS, Cognizant, etc who have made it to the top based on their brown nosing capacity and they are only interested in playing the game. They are really the jokers you are referring to.

Since the time an Indian Joker became head of card tech, all the good people are leaving, the first thing he did even before becoming the head to get rid of all ADLs, who does that, the product team instead of focusing on requirements are now busy with ADL duties, it has become a sh_t show. When you hire useless people from Amazon, Macy etc. this is the result. The C1 organization lacks professionalism and transparency.
