Cut the sh-t

DEI is a distraction. Our problem is our CEO is an id--t!. And his leadership team is part of it. They have underperformed their peers. EPS is down. Employee engagement is on the decline. Blake is a narcissist and not a serious leaders. ... — read more

Has Rockwell outsourced jobs to India recently?

I've noticed a growing trend of engineers working remotely from India. With the ongoing layoffs, I'm concerned that many jobs will be outsourced offshore. Does anyone have any insights or thoughts on this topic?

Proxy Highlights Blake's Failure

"The actions we took to align costs with current business conditions and to create a strong foundation for future growth and expanded profitability included a 12% reduction in our global headcount from peak levels in early fiscal 2024. The volatility... — read more

Counteroffers

Has anyone here gotten a counteroffer from Rockwell? Just curious if it happens often. I personally haven’t heard of anyone who’s had this experience but I know it happens at other companies.

There's nothing to look forward to

Cost reduction efforts through lean projects, layoffs, shadow layoffs, and attrition will continue throughout the fy25. The AOPs for many departments are reduced for this year. Even if one does not get laid off, there will not be raises, bonuses... — read more

Blake is a fraud

Tell me why he is not. He has let the most competent leaders exit. His new leadership team is weak. And the stock price stinks and competitors are licking rockwells behind.

Do layoffs happen often?

I'm new to Rockwell, having started just three months ago, and it's a bit unnerving that I already have to stress over layoffs. Is this something I should expect to worry about regularly, or is it more of an occasional, once-a-year thing, or... — read more

I'll volunteer

I'm planning to leave not just the company but the entire industry. If I get the chance to volunteer for layoffs, I'll gladly take it. Receiving severance for something I already plan to do in the next six months would be fantastic. And if it helps... — read more

Costs are a result of mismanagement

Yup… Blakes Form 4 filing says it all. He’s got a long term incentive program that is paying out regardless of actual company performance. Company is shrinking and he still get paid, All while you little people come to work everyday wondering if... — read more

Autofair is a joke!

Is it me, or is the messaging at AF laughably lame. Look at ABB, BECKHOFF, Emerson and Siemens. Their leaders seem like they understand automation. Rockwell has a commanding position in the strongest market but Blake and team produce a word salad... — read more

Blake is on the way out

I have it from close sources a few institutional investors and a new activist will eject Blake and a few underperforming execs in sales and hr/legal.

Next round coming

All signs indicate another round. Q4 will be a miss. Blake will panic and layoff more, fire an SVP of choice (Buttermore or Scotty g most likely) Petty cost savings like travel restrictions, healthcare cost increases, company phones and... — read more

I see no strategy at the top but cuts and more cuts

This round may be over now, but there will be more layoffs, attrition and offshoring coming. We may think we are safe until the end of the year, but I would be cautious and prepare for any eventuality. Long-term? Start looking for other options. With... — read more

So new round of layoffs started, when does it ends?

Nervous and concerned as people I know who performed well got laid off in October. And there seems no notice period. Basically same day notice then you are out. So, it is really happening exactly as those earlier posts predicted. If we haven't get... — read more

How bad is it?

I’m hearing orgs across the board being affected. I guess it is safe to assume that we are again bleeding the most competent and experienced ones.

Layoffs - September 2024

The axe is being swung again. This week the groups affected so far; Supplier Quality, Compliance Engineering and Product Engineering. I guess the brain trust decided our products weren't bad enough and needed a little push off the cliff. When I think... — read more

Unionize to protect our jobs?

Should US and Canadian salaried Engineers and Technicians start thinking about joining the IFPTE union? I've never been pro-union, but maybe it's time to put the company on notice. Every time RA offshores a job it weakens the company. The below... — read more

Layoffs in October 2024

Any rumors of layoffs in October 2024? I would not be surprised if they completely eliminate one level of mid manager ranks…

Is this really helping the bottom line?

Before I left in Jan 2024, there were a few shadow layoffs in late 2023. At that point the writing was on the wall for me, people that excelled at what they did with a bunch of experience 15-20yrs were laid off. It was basically these people are... — read more
