The axe is being swung again. This week the groups affected so far; Supplier Quality, Compliance Engineering and Product Engineering. I guess the brain trust decided our products weren't bad enough and needed a little push off the cliff. When I think of todays RA, I picture a jet in an unrecoverable flat spin about to crash.

Look at sr leadership comp. Especially Blake and Becky. Something is rotten in Denmark. 2.9% cagr from declined offer from Emerson but I think they both made a bit more increase per year. Hmmm. Why is the legal sr vp also hr. Also sustainability. Expertise? Nothing comes to mind. Institutional investors are going to be departing soon. This will further depress stock. Blake’s fake southern charm
Is running out. He’s a black widow.
Clipped from Cambridge last week along with 3 others from Development. The severance package was reasonable.
I overheard a phonecall talking about how for "cybersecurity" they're going to start designing in planned obsolescence. Everything i'm seeing here is so counter to the company i joined a decade ago, that Alix consulting firm is really trying to carve up the company to make a quick buck. But i guess its inevitable when they want Rockwell to be a software company now.
We have released so many half complete products recently. And when it's finally released there is no one to fix the problems haha.
As a former person in one of the largest business who was unceremoniously jettisoned by Blake moret, who is a dolt, I’d advise leaving as soon as possible. Blakey boy has decimated the good leadership and left dolts like Veena and Scotty g. Really. Ask yourself. If you had to go to battle, do you want these feckless mo--ns to lead you? Blake is a fraud. A narcissistic id--t who has ruined the company. We see you Blake as the fraud you are. Even your friend Tom O left because he knew you had lost it. Btw. Why does Becky still have a job? Who makes legal and hr one entity. Board members need to be sued.
We heard last week about the plant closing in Mass. but as other commenters have mentioned we have a consultant going through finding savings, sales offices closing, jobs moving to Mexico, par for the course everyone over at our location is more upset about layoffs still happening after executives claimed it was over back in June!
If someone's promoting getting rid of the jets, then they should also get rid of the box seats and luxury boxes in Milwaukee, Cleveland and wherever else they have them.
RA went too far left, too woke, too quickly. Perhaps that is what market/shareholders wanted to see.
DEI management teams need to go, unfortunately. Too many incompetent managers, “high EQ” managers who are not SMEs in any field.
CIO and few VP's working under him should be immediately fired due to all their bad discussions just like Blake and other leaders are taking. If I were you, I would find something much better while you still have a job.
Blake is sinking the ship as RA CEO. Blake and most of his VP/SVP staff needs to go if this company wants a chance at survival. RA needs to sell off the RA jets immediately, sell off the Rockwell hangar at the Milwaukee airport, and drop the 10-12 full time RA people it takes to keep the jets going. Pilots, mechanics, travel coordinator, oh and you have to have a manager to manage them. Blake made over 17 million last year, he can pay for his own private flights if he is to proud to fly commercial. The entire DEI management staff needs to be eliminated. RA needs to be on an ozempic diet and fast. Blake can take my 2 percent merit increase he gave me and shove it up his can!!!!!!!!!!
There is no “engineering services” it’s called ISC there is no “compliance engineering” its certification engineering can tell the fake newsers who got let go because of their poor performance earlier in the year and don’t even know what various units are called or they quote names they see in the news ie they aren’t part of Rockwell got RIF’d because they couldn’t perform and are bitter now the Devens plant closing was the biggest news and most of the people on this have no clue but they’ll cry about getting cut
No one in Mequon is or has been affected, this is simply not true! Mequon is perfectly safe, probably the safest location in the company since it was just announced that all of the Devens location which is much better performing than Mequon is, will close now and all of the independent cart products are going to Mexico (also higher quality than Mequon) finally. The people that should go are the directors in the Mequon BU’s! Many strong managers in both BU’s keeping the ship barely afloat but the directors continue driving business into the ground, maybe on orders from Blake to devalue certain segments? All actions in Mequon completed in June and now their plant manager left.
As a 20+ year employee of RA I used to think they were about the best possible company to work for. No longer do I think that. Blake is a mo--n and is running them into the ground.
If you work at Rockwell, are young and skilled, you are a fool to stay. Find something better. Blake and all the employee engagement is all cr-p. The leadership is mediocre to horrible (Scotty g, we know you are a dolt). You didn’t create this mess but don’t stick around to be surprised with another layoff. Only Blake sycophants survive. Do your research and see all the good leadership that is gone or been excited. Blake will go down as an incompetent ceo.
Glen Fields got the axe. When is Veena Lakkundi and the rest of the useless managers going to be let go?
Well. It’s hard to see all the org layofffs as they want to lie. Blake has instructed that any analyst reviews only go to him. He has excluded his new leadership team ( that he picked) because he is a narcissistic leader who
Is stupid and is always worried that he will be outed as a fraud. Employee engagement. 5 year low. Stock performance. 5 year low. Profitable business. 5 year low. Overspend on stupid acquisitions. Yup. Fire everyone around you multiple times. Yup. Why do you stay there??? Where are the smart investors??? They are not there. I’d wish you luck, but you wouldn’t know what to do with it. Glad I am out.
Sales, Product Quality, and Product Compliance teams (Engineering services) are in the process of reduction.
Interesting that Mequon was affected. Was it the production staff or office staff? No one in leadership that I report up to mentioned anything to our teams like they did the last two times this past spring.
All the US remote jobs will be outsourced to India and other low cost locations. The remote work era after the pandemic revealed and proved the jobs can be remote and outsourced.
contrary to a previous comment, there were additional cuts in Mequon to hourly and salary the week of Sept 23rd.
So far no one else in Mequon has been impacted.
Quality engineers are important for not pi----g off the customer lol. It is getting hard to believe we can prioritize our way put of this one. I wonder why the multiple waves. Ki-l us with one clean blow.
Gina Ayala C and Susana G were clipped? Are you sure?
Anyone else in Mequon affected?
They did not resign. They were asked to leave/ layoffed/ fired. Please do not insinuate that it was their decision.
Correction: Gina and Susana, along with a few others who are aware of what is coming, have resigned. Everything else is accurate.
Blue just laid of Gina and Susana. Both were underwhelming sales leaders. He just put in another underwhelming leader in charge of North America, which is there most important market. The fact Scotty G still has a job is another indication Blake should not, and never have been the ceo. The wrong guy got the job in 2016. Look at his wake of departures and picks for leadership from outside. Who ever takes over has a mess to clean up but unless he goes now, it will get worse. As someone who worked closely with him, his is a narcissistic buffoon. He is ill equipped to do the job and doesn’t know anything about products or services. He is a sales wonk.
Salespeople are being let go too. Amazing, no one wants to buy junk products, who would have seen that coming?
Note to management: next time don't push out a half baked product and think the customers won't mind. Also, wait until you fix the problems before letting everyone go. Ready, Fire, Aim.
