Are these recent stock sales an indicator of more layoffs coming? Genuine question - I’m not sure how to interpret it

Due to the overall poor performance of the commany, The major investors, institutional investors, will likely demand drastic changes at the top. Q1FY25 earnings call will be quite telling.
An institution is the lengthened shadow of one man. Rockwells “man” is Blake. He is a weak, little man.
Many NA Roles will be eliminated/outsourced to India/or AI augmented.
Outsourcing jobs has never been easier especially roles that can be successfully performed remotely.
IT/engineering/customer care/project management plus all other administrative roles can be easily outsourced to India. Hiring freeze in NA wheras hiring bo-m
In India.
These types of roles were piloted and proved out to be successfully performed “remotely”.
The US/Canada jobs are at risk. India is the new go to low cost/large quantity talent pool.
The US/Canada Employees have successfully proved out to the leadership team that “working remotely/wfh” work scheme works and that their roles can be performed remotely.
Consequently, “working remotely/wfh” work scheme will enable many NA roles to the remote and low cost employees of India and other low cost regions.
Sadly, many Roles will be eliminated/outsourced/or AI augmented.
I don’t think Rockwell is “positioning “ itself for acquisition. The board is too stupid to consider that and Blake is too vain to that said, Emerson is out as they now “the biggest company focused singularly on automation”. Sorry Rockwell, like the 4 face clock, now number 2. Just like your ceo, second rate hack. Honeywell might reconsider. If so , the current leadership team will be exited.
Lest anyone think the last comment is over exaggerated, Rockwell has QUADRUPLED the number of employees in India in the last four years from 1000 to over 4000 employees. (Source: recent article on new plant in Chennai). If your job hasn't already gone overseas, it will be. And guess what, they aren't gonna do a damn thing to keep you.
Some key ledership members are likely planning for a graceful and a very lucrative exit. The US/Canada minions are fckd. India is the new go to talent pool.
RA mission/vision/values/strategy is operating in a “soul searching” mode. No clarity on intents. RA needs a reset.
I wonder if Rockwell is being positioned to be acquired.
No. At the Rockwell executive level, the sr vps have to create a plan well in advance. And it executes to this plan. This is why Veena was able to sell stock near the earnings report. She has probably set this up last year. They all have to do this as another protection against the perception of insider trading. That said, the leadership team is weak and the company performance is lacking compared to others in the segment. In addition, Blake has overspent on acquisitions and underspent or sc--wed up priorities for development of core products. Most of the smart folks who knew enough on how to manage are gone (Frank, Fran, Juergen, …). Watch the autofair keynotes. Word salad, rebranding old ideas, and vapor ware ideas. I watched Blake’s at double speed and it still was boring.
