Thread regarding Rockwell Automation Inc. layoffs

There's nothing to look forward to

Cost reduction efforts through lean projects, layoffs, shadow layoffs, and attrition will continue throughout the fy25. The AOPs for many departments are reduced for this year. Even if one does not get laid off, there will not be raises, bonuses etc.

This sounds about right. I think the future looks bleak whether you are laid off or not.

Anyone know how Q1 has went? Are sales down? Will this FY25Q1 earnings call be a surprise to anyone here? I think thelayoff.com bots will always create generic "layoffs coming!!!" posts, but I want specifics.

no raises. No bonuses. More layoffs.
If you save your job, you will be overwhelmed.

Q1FY25 earnings call will be quite telling. Definitely no raises. No bonuses. More layoffs.

Listen to the earnings call and “keynote” bullsh-t speeches. No more acquisition. Spending on “integration “. And the earnings called detail cost controls. You are all at risk. Anything for eps. Blake is in his lame duck/get rich phase. He doesn’t care about long term or you!!! Run and run fast.

In addition to ongoing cost cutting measures, the newly proposed tariffs, coupled with stagnant wage growth/no bonuses, sadly, paint a bleak picture for the Cambridge RA workers. Whether you survive or get laid off you are almost equally fckd.

Layoffs survivors are faced with huge pressures to theit mental health/weneing as their worload increases exponentially.

I don't understand why fake Becky is being down voted. Whether it's people that don't want the message to be true, believe it is not true or agree with the comments but don't think it should be this way, I can attest that I have seen what fake Becky said and I would say the comment is 100% accurate.

Management is always promoting the Global Voices survey, but don't take meaningful action based on the results. As an example, there was a morale team started and within months it was disbanded because management did not want to address the issues raised by employees.

When it comes to promotions, there has always been a preference for yes-men and the need to fill a quota. When these people washout because they can't get the job done, then they relent and hire based on merit. If we continue to take the 2 steps backward, 1 step forward approach, we will continue to struggle as a company.

Hi
This is Becky, hr and legal sr vp from Rockwell. Please make sure you complete your employee engagement survey this year. Your opinion matters and we want to make sure we keep our employees engaged so they do their best work

And get your a-s back to the office, do as we say, not as we do and don’t think your will be promoted on the merit of your work. Blake and I have to promote yes men and dei quota people. Thanks for all your years of service, we will fire you sometime to make our eps targets.

RA wants the selected employees/managers to quit (quiet firing) and not ask for the severance package. Or desparatelly await until you make an honest mistake and they fire you for a cause.

That is the worst, knowing that all the execs got their bonuses. And don't kid yourselves folks, people other than execs get stock options etc. We get zero raise last year, zero bonus, they act like this year's early "raise" was something special. They're getting their bonuses, they're getting their stock options, and they're laughing at us. They are all remote, of course, but not you. They're laughing at you going into the office. What we say goes, and if you don't like it, there's the door. They want you to quit. They want you to free up your salary to make up for their colossal investments. It doesn't matter anyway, every single person I know at Rockwell quiet quit a LONG time ago. We are tired of being treated like garbage, and seeing our competition thrive in this economy and, not only is RA doing poorly, but they treat their employees (the desperate ones that stuck around BC of DB pension or haven't been fired) like garbage. What a morale ki-ler.

Blake makes 262 times the median salary of employees at Rockwell. And his compensation has INCREASED the last 2 years while revenue has DECREASED in a strong market. Great ceo-NOT

40+ FT permanent production employees were laidoff from the Cambridge plant last week.

I'm starting to think either employees of thelayoff are adding to, or starting, threads with alarmist views and constant fear-mongering. It's the same over and over again, I haven't seen any layoffs post-Auto fair pre-Xmas.

RA will continue to cut costs to stabilize EPS and profitability.

Layoffs, attrition, travel bans, zero AEIP, hiring freezes, temp plant shutdowns, disproportionate attention to trivial tasks will vehicles to deliver in the cost reduction targets.

This thread hit it right on the head. Frank was the guy. We wouldn't be in this situation had Frank been CEO. Was he a lot tougher? Yes. But I was fortunate enough to work for and with him for several years and those were some of my best years at Rockwell.

Unfortunately, no amount of extra work by us rank and file is going to matter right now. It all comes down to the investment decisions coming from the top. They are very poor right now and have been for several years.

Quiet quit? I dunno. That's up to you personally. But going above and beyond right now isn't going to help you.

If you are 6 years or less let me lay it out. Blake and Frank K had a swing at ceo. Most realized Frank was the guy. But, Blake and his aw shucks attitude swung Susan Schmidt and Don “the dolt” parfait to vote against the right guy. Blake won. To everyone’s surprise. The sycophants pivoted to align with Blake and Becky. Those of us who didn’t, we got fired. Now Rockwell is the next allis chalmers. Blake will be ok. Sr vps will be ok. Everyone else is f’ed. Run if you can. Quiet quit if you must.

Sadly, RA appears to be on a trajectory of a steady decline and likely will continue to cut costs to stabilize EPS. Layoffs, sadly, will most likely be the main vehicle to deliver cost reduction initiatives. Sadly even more, the wrong folks will likely be laid off.

To survive RA must surgically cut ranks/files of “non-value add” and “email forwarder”, “PowerBI/Excel sheet” management team members, use the saved money to offer higher salaries and attract/retain the top talent.

Way too many directors and alike who cannot direct, who cannot sell, who do not understand process, product, likely brought onboard to meet some DEI quotas or part of acquisitions.

Me and my Rockwell friends have silently quit. Do as little as possible. We figure the big heads who only got senior roles by being yes men to king Blake don’t do anything anyway other than create worthless PowerPoints. Join us. Down with Rockwell leadership team!!!
