F Digital , computers are Digital . We know that its nothing new. I am so sick of the word Digital because management can't say sentence without saying Digital at least 3 times.

Blackrock and Vanguard hasn't lost 600m , the people who invest in those funds lost it, So now Mikey , Blackrock and Vanguards boards are screwing more people of there hard earned money.

Perhaps this is a question for the analysts call?
Given that the board voted to remove strategic goals from their incentive plan in favour of more financial goals (whilst also voting for bigger stock options on their bonus), then I doubt there is ANY focus on the actual engine. There's no incentive for strategic planning when you can just burn shed loads of staff.
The $21,733 billion they made in 2018 fell to $20, 753 this year. Aww (╯︵╰,) That's a 4.5% drop despite all the 'investment' DXC had injected into 'leveraging partners, acquisitions, skills expansion and new talent'. DXC describes 'Talent' as having 'deep industry experience'. OK, so not the same deep industry experience that the 20,000 people you fired, already had?
The only revenue contributors likely to gain a mention will be Bluescope steel, DB cargo, Gaurdian life insurance, SAS airlines, and West of England Health Science Network. Who? Exactly. But I am sure they all have nice logos.
DXC still have Luxsoft up its sleeve that they could use. They are still there. A bit like fruition. Not dead, just... pining. But DXC don't seem to know how to plug them in early enough on engagements and invest in them. If only the integration of sales and delivery was as seemless as the powerpoint slides that fly about. DXC would be soaring by now.
DXC Mainstream IT modernisation is slow as a dead duck and continued lack of investment in new tech means lack of agility in being ready to roll up the sleeves, get the hands dirty and simplify that client legacy stuff. But how can you simply the clients' IT when DXC can't optimise its own?
So what's the forward plan? Are we done with all the endless culling? There must be an actual plan by now? There has to be. Is there any chance at all that the chair of the board wil consider retirement next year so that the planning for a replacement can start and breath new life into this mess before the share price falls through the floor? No? I guess the same old culling and trajectory then. More f—ging of dynamics, service now and SAP in a one-size-fits-all model until the clients agree to play ball and change their round pegs to suit DXC's square shaped holes (which will never happen).
$20 billion isn't bad, though. It's still above water even if its below DXC's own goals. But the market has moved faster than this lumbering oil tanker and depsite increasing the workforce reduction program to warp factor 9, the impact upon the client business has been counter-productive. What Mikey would call "Headwinds" and what the rest of us would call the results of a 'stupid mindless —wit'.
So who is making this $20 billion?

The Zachs estimate is for this quarter indicates a 7.88% decline from the year-ago reported figure with the consensus mark for at $1.71, suggesting an 11.4% decline.
Obviously Mikey will have to return to his 'headwinds' again. They are those in-your-face strong gusts of 'traditional application services' winds that blow against your digital trajectory and slow progress of selling leading-edge, low-cost country digital offerings that follow the sun, but seldom the client.
Challenges such as Inept sales teams, lack of a coordinated strategic road-map; inconsistent integration of sales and delivery and end-to-end, repeatable-delivery by suitably resourced, skilled and experienced workforce isn't important and only serves to hamper important financial discussions.
On the positive side, due to all the staff cuts, earning is 5.1%. Of course, some clients have been lost but that doesn't hit the books for a while and is just legacy run-off and background noise.
The non-GAAP earnings of $2.19 per share is down on the $2.28 per share this time last year. The current drop in stock value shows lack of investor confidence that will require smiley business type clip-art and plenty of digital buzzwords, that will be welcomed by all those hoping to play in tomorrow's BS Bingo.

O difference than other companies, look at the companies that are moving up. They are all taking care of their people. Without people pushing your product because they believe in it and believe the company will take care of them, you will go nowhere and that is where DXC is at today. #ISeeDXC failing
Caution Flag?
At what point do we stop saying this is just ML greed and incompetence and think something more nefarious is going on? How long did Enron employees go on thinking things were fishy before the bottom dropped out?
It seems DXC may be heading down a dark path here that is borderline criminal and not just greedy. Anyone feeling like some lines have been crossed and this may be one of those hindsight moments when someone should have said something?
And he’s even getting a hero’s welcome on the DXC internal Facebook page. I see a revolt , work slowdowns from the employees coming based on this. The steamroll is on the move. #ISeeDXC

Andrew (I think that was his name) put DXC management though the ringer and they couldn't come up with a good answer to anything. All of us were smiling and clapping for this brave sole to take them on.
DXC talking about new hires, WE DONT give a RATS A$$ about hew hires, we want to know about OUR JOBS... Do we just assume if were not services and consulting (won't call it digital, cause computers have been digital since they were invented), that our jobs are done?

When you fill out your performance objectives for this year, everyone should slip in one goal and see if anyone notices - Goal: To help DXC make the top ten for Worst Companies to Work For in 2019. It is certainly a goal for ML and his top line, so it should be cascaded down to all employees.

US RIF News
I am hearing this is a big one this week, but only know of one name in offerings. On the Town Hall it was said were moving from infrastructure to digital (Services/consulting). If that is the case why are we still rolling out lots hardware , whos going to support it, if ML keeps laying off the people who sale it, deliver it and support it?

People already have been forced to work from home in some countries. Forced that is one of the BEST benefits DXC offers !
Our implementation of Skype for Business seems to be the worst I have ever seen, NOT REALLY if your not on a slow network or on some slow VPN it works great. I have a cable modem in the US download 186.90 Mbps Upload 16.01 Mbps for a low cost and don't have Skype issues.
Don't blame Skype blame your network or the VPN you use.
I am in the US , my paycheck comes from CSC. I don't work for DXC since I am paid by CSC. You all in the UK are lucky we poor people get a max of 8 weeks period and that can change at any time the company wants to change it. We have no labor laws in the US to protect our self from these work force reductions.

Tell us about work force reductions, how many were let go and from what area's. How are we going to pick up the work by the people let go? DXC is cutting people left and right, for so called cost cutting and Mike Lawrie gets 5 million dollars of DXC stock at no cost. WTF? I hope DXC stock goes farther into the toilet, because its a sh*t hole company anyway.
Performance review process is a joke, why put in goals because if you meet or exceed you don't get a raise, bonus.
Hang on to yourselves, several thousand will be notified on 5/30 their last day will be 5/31. Run, build, ITAR, all of it. --
really oh well, sometimes I wish it was me on that list, I am fed up with it all. I originally came to DXC because I've been outsourced in previous employers and though I'd be "safe" with a Outsourcing company, who knew DXC would outsource our jobs 1st to India and other so called lower cost places, then would switch from an outsource company to a consulting company (so called Digital bull sh*t).
To make matters worse Mike Lawrie sold a bunch of stock and then got over 5 million dollars worth for zero cost. How is that fair to all the employee's that were riff'ed because of costs cutting and ones that haven't seen a pay increase in years.
