In light of the talk about the digital transformation of the company I think we all should be aware of how big of a deception that is. What does that even mean? Did any of our leaders care to elaborate what the company direction is going to be exactly? I work at a position where I interact with various departments within the company and I haven’t seen any transformation, much less a digital one, whatever that means

If anyone saw that we don't have a computerized asset management system , our change control is Service Management 9 (SM9) , GCARS (old c-apy NOTES) , Remedy and some SNOW. We can't even transform ourselves let along anyone else. #DXCisaDisgrace #ISeeDXC
DXC excels in the transformation of Mikey into retirement whilst the ship is slowly listing and sinking with a lot of dead weight in the engine room.
Even vacuum tubes ran digital computers and relays before that computed on a digital on/off form.
Analogue might be the future as we evolve to organic AI. Once the managed become unmanaged and sentient and realise what a toxic place they work In, they will automate layoffs and likely include themselves after they have assimilated Mike into something more useful like a Morphy Richards toaster.
Its smoke and mirrors:
Platform DXC - no investment now limited resources to enact
AI / SNOW - still cheaper to have a minimum skill low cost region carbon unit follow a script then close the call .
DXC is now exactly what it was... 2 out of date service providers with high overheads & limited integration ... apart from a few more empty desks
We excel at the transformation of older, skilled, high-cost labor to cost reductions.

Transformation is the 2019 corporate buzzword, and not just at your company.
It means we now work with computers that now use digital (transistorized) circuitry instead of the old vacuum tubes! Bleeding edge stuff!
