There should be a mixture of "KIDS" and mature , experienced staff. This way new idea's are brought in while keeping true to real life best practice.
Remember we were KIDS once :) When I started it Data Processing I was taught how processes should be done, but it was pie in sky and wasn't done anywhere in real business, my mature team mates set me straight pretty quickly. But my pie in the sky was integrated into processes at a slow but constant rate. You know process improvement using manual and computer systems, what they call Digital now! Was doing that in the early 1980's, so nothing NEW here. #ISeeDXC

Hiring kids just out of school with no experience in real life will be shocked when they find the out dated internal systems we have and the poor management style. After 6 months with no pay increases they will be gone.

I chose to go into the unknown rather than stay at DXC, its stupid to leave a paying job with benefits until you have a new position lined up. Unless your single or your spouse can support you and add you to there benefits
Masses of people leaving, WFR and not allowed to hire. Few examples from a finance perspective....There are different types of revenue. Fixed price. Revenue can be reduced due to penalties when positions aren’t filled. Direct billable =resource hours billed to client. Not enough resources to do the work. Cost plus = resource and other costs add margin and bill client. Less cost = less revenue. Those of us working the finances on contracts are seeing millions of dollars in loss for those reasons. IT WILL CONTINUE UNTIL DXC ALLOWS HIRING AND PROVIDES INCENTIVES FOR PEOPLE TO STAY. #ISEEDXC

That pretty much sums up DXC and the leadership of ML. We can learn something from everyone, either the right way to do things or how not to do things. DXC is a great learning environment!

Saying keep the digital part is crazy, ALL OF IT is Digital --> computers are DIGTIAL . You mean sell off the non consulting part and keep everything that DXC is not good at. Great plan!
CSC used to hover around the $66-69 per share with 60% of the staff that DXC have now. Shedding 40,000 staff seems to have made the stock price worse. Who'd a thunk it?
DXC hover around the $56 mark, since losing a lot of client and investor confidence in their ability to manage and deliver service whilst taking an inordinately long time to sort out their internal costs and in-house squabbles and knee-jerk sackings.
DXC 'x' is a force multiplier. That means it can take a fundamental operational problem and multiplying into a global catastrophe with undesirable client impact. The routine legacy work is farmed off to low-cost countries who were not born when these systems first started going wrong and the digital offering take-up is not as fast as it needs to be, despite the paid-for white papers and vaporware.
OK, arguably the DXC 'ship has now turned, but its facing the shore and yet continues to speed- crash into the dock! The operating model has changed numerous times; the data centres have since been ditched in favour of partnership hosting, only for DXC to change its mind and start procuring them again in the hope that clients think they will get a better hosting from DXC than Azure or Amazon Web services upon which they said they were no longer going to compete with. What next? "People who bought DXC services also bought this rope and this chair!"
My advise to clients is not necessarily to reject DXC outright, that would be churlish and unprofessional of me. But I would say to fully assess the risks; use other client references; ensure your contract is water-tight on communications, deliveries, escalations,agreed and fixed skillsets, a phased-approach and make sure your penalty payments truly reflect the cost and impact to your business if the service doesn't meet contracted need.
Please, please please, do not go into DXC without first being clear what you want and do not be swayed with expensive cloud blurb. What might sound cheap can actually end up costing you more in the long run that your old steam-driven on-prem stuff.
Go into any DXC contract with your eyes open. After all...
Right only Mike Lawrie and his NEO's get merit (or otherwise) pay raises, bonus and such. I say F -them. I get great reviews every year but no nothing, no pay increase, No paying for my internet, no paying for my phone which I still need for support, no office supplies. F-them

So far we have had: being old, ugly, high earner; not working enough billable hours; not willing to work unsociable hours every day; unwilling to take on responsibilities of 3-5 riffed staff and now starting a work pattern an hour later than country core time. I can still remember a time when skill, knowledge, experience, flexibility and productivity used to be valued.
Mind you, I can still remember a time when leadership and innovation were the catalyst for change and growth. Now it’s just asset stripping, greed and stock analyst misdirection to like some glorified money laundering game.Now it’s just A virtual game of smoke and mirror dividends, greed, unethical and close to illegal behaviour.
Wouldn't like to lose my DXC 80K income but I put way a good part of into the 401K to lower my tax burden from salary and investments and it would just push me to retire and get away from all this bull. Summer is here and there would be a lot to do outside...…..
Maybe I'll get the WRF and it will push me to retire and enjoy what life I might have left. My Dad always said the only thing you get from work, is being tired.
There is NO FAKE news, that is a tRUMP term for news he doesn't like. There is incorrect news or papers like national enquirer which is gossip bull c-ap.
If you come in the office late and leave early and don't get your work done you won't be WRF , you will be FIRED! There is a difference.

Again buying DC after closing its own data centers in all over world. ML is getting mad and then buying one in New Jersey where land isn't cheap. ML is an id--t! Just leave the Chicago DC alone instead of buying more real-state for a digital cloud company

DXC field sales and delivery organization is in chaos and will continue to get worse since DXC management at the VP/ Director level of support to their direct reports is horrible across the US.

Also because there have been no pay increases or bonus for any US technical employee in years , but ML still get's $50,000 a year bonus and HUGE pay increases. #ISeeDXC in the toilet
potential layoffs in May? Yes and June, july, August etc... see the pattern. There will be layoffs till the company is nothing and ML can sell off what is left. #ISeeDXC
" data center when you can put everything on AWS " , AWS is hosted somewhere and DXC would make more money if we host it and charge for it, that's why. We might as well give up if everything is going to be hosted on AWS. I wouldn't come to DXC for professional (had to laugh when I typed that) services for AWS, I go directly to AWS for help.

Bad management decisions AT the CEO position and down is more like it. If bad decisions are happening down stream of the CEO then it's on ML because he the CEO. Adding more accounts on "non-digital" but not hiring enough people to support it is one of many issues #ISeeDXC

Had my review today and was graded a “2”. Big f’en deal. Still no pay increase, nothing. But ML gets merit raises, bonus and stock options. Work slow down starts today. , if they won’t pay be more, i’ll Do 10% less each year retro active from 5+ years ago #ISeeDxC
No one in there right mind wants to work for DXC but jobs in the USA are not that easy to come by for people over 55.
We keep looking and if a job comes up for the same pay ,no being on call24 by 7 and normal hours 9 to 5 we’ll jump so fast. Until then we b--ch about ML 23 million dollar pay check. I can’t post on Twitter anymore because DXC blocked me #ISeeDXC.

Post on Twitter using #ISeeDXC , so people take notice of how ex and current employee's feel about the poor moral , poor management of DXC , lack of direction, Work force reductions to cut costs while ML and the NEO's gets raises and bonus.
