How is this company even functioning?

There is literally no code reviews, people are pushing stuff to prod, there is zero code quality checking. Better to get the 6 months pay and then leave this dumpster fire, rather than stay and stagnate.

Mid-year Ratings

Does anyone know if management was given direction as to how to rate the members of their team? Or does the manager rate at their discretion? Ie: 10% below target, 80% at target and 10% above target. Does the 10% below target on mid-year create... — read more

The old days of meetings

Left Ford a couple years back for let’s face it better opportunities. Working at ford involved 6ish hours of meetings 5 days a week. Is that still the case? Do you still have meetings to discuss the meeting to discuss what needs to be done? Time to... — read more

Rawsonville Plant?

I have always wondered why Ford keeps the Rawsonville Plant open. As far as I know it produces a couple of components but mostly put together component packages for the Livonia Transmission Plant. I thought Ford got out of the component business with... — read more

Design of our EVs doesn't make sense

Ford and GM can survive a 40% UAW compensation increase

https://www.theautopian.com/ford-and-gm-can-afford-to-give-its-workers-40-raises-analyst/ Good take. The offer Ford made was bunk. Pure bunk. For me ending the two-tier pay structure is a deal-breaker. If Ford doesn't agree to that then no deal. The... — read more
