Good luck tomorrow

I don’t know how much of this I can take. This has been a terrible weekend wondering if I’ll be riffed. Doesn’t FB have any idea what this is doing to morale? Our team is down three due to earlier layoffs and we all are overworked. But also quite... — read more

Was coming here as an analyst a huge mistake?

Recently hired analyst at BH here just watching everything fall apart before I even got my footing. I was hired on a 3/2 hybrid schedule that obviously isn't being honored in any way, I've watched higher ups in my business group leave or get fired... — read more

Long time FI customer here

Understanding FB

FB doesn’t trust anyone. Frank hired a secret service agent during his days at JP Morgan to spy on execs, and report to him on all execs moves. All news outlet reported on this, subsequently Pete Cavacchia, then security manager, was fired from JP... — read more

Severance and medical coverage

Can somebody who was recently laid off please tell me if severance includes any kind of medical coverage for an extended period (a few months, or until you can find a new job), or does it get cut off immediately or at the end of the month? Any info... — read more

Unionizing

Is there a reason we can’t start a union?

It's easy to say that to someone else

It is easy to tell others that they are actually lucky for getting RIFed because everyone deserves better. I don't feel lucky. Moreover, I am still very angry, because I feel cheated. I made extra efforts, I always tried to contribute as much as I... — read more

Fiserv is a cesspool

The best thing you can do is move on and never look back. I don't know a single person who left and regretted it.

Layoffs in GBS?

Has anyone heard about any layoffs in any GBS orgs?

For sale

Deep cuts can precede a sale of a business or part of the business. Just saying.

Learn from other people's mistakes

Never take the counter offer. When it is offered you will have two jobs to choose from. If you take the counter offer, they will build up your replacement and drop you when it is convenient for them and inconvenient for you. You will have zero... — read more

Extremely Poor Exec Leadership

These massive RIFs are indicative of a reactionary CEO that can't manage expenses or forecast them. It should be a point of embarrassment vs badge of honor for "managing expense pressures." While continuing to tank productivity, quality and morale... — read more

Action speaks!

I’ve been on this site just reading how terrible the ceo of fiserv is. Upon doing my research he is also a member of the board, which makes this post a little more troublesome but makes sense why his decisions, even if it’s cost Fiserv millions of... — read more

Anyone want to stay here?

Stopped by this forum and it's disappointing to read that so many people would like to be paid to leave this misery of a place. It's terrible that hard workers get laid off just as easily as pretenders. Is there anyone who is actually trying to... — read more

Tomorrow is the day

My manager told our team today that she is being laid off and tomorrow is her last day….will it ever end? I’ve never encountered a more heartless human than the current president.

Dumpster Fire

Thankfully I left on my own terms. Do more with less and be self sufficient doesn’t work well for clients but obvi Fiserv doesn’t care about who is paying the bills. PL is a disaster and the toxic environment that is tolerated is disgraceful... — read more

Parking at berkeley heights

Are they adding additional parking at berkeley heights? I just counted (roughly) the number of spots for the building and got 1,500. It also looks like other companies are in the building. How are 3,000 people going to fit in 1,500 parking spots?

Joining Fiserv was a huge mistake

It has the worst environment and the most incompetent management on all levels that I have ever seen. Constantly getting overworked because so many people are leaving and then having to deal with constant refusals to backfill some of the vacated... — read more

Layoffs are normal when Frank is the CEO

I’m an HR person that’s worked for Frank (he fired me). Frank will do a layoff every year no matter the condition of the business. It’s part of his strategy. It takes the soul out of the HR people that he churns through.
