Any support staff get this meeting invite with Rob? It has everyone from Project Managers to Customer Experience to Tech Writers to Command involved. Kinda weird to include ALL Support staff (we're talking hundreds) of people. Any ideas?

The tone deafness of the repeated talking points is quite wearing. If we hear "better together" ONE MORE TIME...gonna scream. It's like grinding salt into wounds for any remaining remote workers (and by that I mean WFH and those in smaller "non-hub" locations like Lincoln) and doesn't mean much to the NJ teams trying to figure out whos going to do all this work. We get it...FB wants a NJ monument...he's boss. No one can stop him from his path. Those of us not preemptively let go will leave when we can, but in the meantime, stop selling us cr-p. Employment here is now just transactional. We get paid for hours and pain. No future, no loyalty. Gloating over the quarterly numbers is unseemly given the size of cuts just made...but that would mean we value people over $s.
The "all hands" meeting for Bank Solutions was an hour of "we are really growing, bigger than Ford!" followed by, "yeah we had to make some tough decisions about staff." Also, we had the good old "we are a company that works from offices." with the "there will always be some work from road...probably." schtick. Really great stuff. The political double-speak was in full bloom.
Nothing this company does (to hurt employees) will surprise me. These "tough decisions" were questioned in regards to understaffing and we were told we can just rally around each other and figure things out to get the work done. You're doing two or three peoples jobs? Great! Really fantastic for the company. Raises you say? Promotions? Oh yeah....mmmmmmm.....sorry Peter. Gonna need you to come in on Saturday....but no room for incentives for you. Lol.
Just lookout for a meeting called "Important Meeting.....Organizational Announcement..Attendance required" that is what my layoff meeting was called
At least you are employed until then?
The implementations meeting was basically "thanks for making us rich enjoy your 1.5 percent raise"
Well the All Hands Banking Implementations meeting is about to happen, same scenario with missing people. I’ll let you know.
Really guys, this is ridiculous. This is a normal, quarterly meeting where all of the CCO Support Team leaders share our successes and plans for the future. Get a grip on reality, not everything is doomsday.
They aren’t going to announce layoffs in a meeting like this, let alone address the ones that have occurred or will occur. If handled correctly, this meeting should move from the standard quarterly BS heard all the time and actually focus in on employee fears, concerns (rto, outsourcing, failing svls, loss and non replacement of CCO leaders). That is the engagement people want. Real talk. Not a PowerPoint presentation.
That email was sent to ONLY certain people not everyone in the organization that they were talking about something is not sounding right.
Hmmm still scary I know there have been a lot of layoffs within the CCO department’s, I guess you’re never safe and we are just a small grain within the company (after spending years trying to better the company)even though we contribute a lot (especially the training department) and we don’t get any credit from the quarterly “how much Fiserv made this quarter earnings meetings”AND no raises etc with everything we give when we facilitate these classes and get them ready for them to move on to the call center world) I regret becoming salary sometimes!! it’s great that they hire within but don’t value us! ( we have never received any recognition from anyone) although there are many prizes agents get for meeting quotas. especially with the cost of living expenses going up!
Don’t be fooled, I asked and got told straight up that there will be mass layoffs but not being announced at this meeting.
The meeting is optional but I do hope everyone on the team joins the Support Operations leadership team and me to discuss our 2022 successes and strategic objectives for 2023. This evening I sent an email to all members of the team providing the full agenda. This all hands meeting is intended to drive engagement and an opportunity to communicate across all functions of this very powerful team.
The more people that are included, the less relevant it will be.
But hey, maybe they have finally decided on a strategy or possible direction to take the company. That would be a change.
This is the quarterly meeting that would normally be run by the division VP. I would not expect to get much information from the meeting at this time. The previous VP shared information that he could, but due to the recent happenings, I don’t think there had been enough time to get things sorted yet.
Really not trying to be a jerk but that's what an All Hands meeting is.... perhaps they are combining groups. But I doibt it is a mass layoff event if that's your fear.
Forgot to mention, Support Managers and Directors are also in this. So Project Manager Directors, Managers, LKS Managers, Directors, Facilitators, LELs, TW, ISD, CX, Command, Project Analysts, Business Analysts, Workforce, Traffic and Scheduling, literally everyone in support staff.
