I thought Bob was moving to NYC/NJ?
Bob Hau, CFO, works out of Brookfield. He’s one of the few original Fiserv senior executives left at the company.
It's unlikely that this will ever happen. They need a plan for the Brookfield real estate and the data center. It has been talked about, bounced around, had a plan and then didn't have a plan dozens of times for the last 12 years. Selling that behemoth of property will be nearly impossible with interest rates skyrocketing. Best case scenario they MIGHT be able to lease it or part of it. By the time they ever figure that out the deal with Milwaukee will be a faint memory.
Moving downtown made some sense when working in an urban setting was "cool". Covid changed all that. Now, the prima donna workforce want to work from home. WAHHHHHH!
This investment makes no sense. JY constantly complained that the tech work force pool in MKE/WI was shallow. What's changed?
$37M invested in a high crime, dysfunctional city run by crazy liberals will be a disaster. For $7M in incentives? That's nothing in the big picture
Having Corp HQ in WI had to be a condition in the 'merger' agreement. Any knowledgeable person knows this is in name only. No Execs work out of WI
A group of monkeys could run Fiserv better than the JPMC cabal currently in charge
This is the 2nd shot at this. It didn't happen when Jeff and Gov Walker negotiated it and there is no guarantee these negotiations will succeed.
You will love Milwaukee. Frank approves of this new office. Thatcis all you need to know.

"Fiserv's getting 7 million but who's paying for the 37 million in building renovations???"
The employees will be paying, no raises (not that they were gonna be more that 1-2% anyways)
City of Milwaukee can kindly f off.
