Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Attendance penalty in effect

Of the remaining staff working harder than ever, leaders looking to give small promotions and/or monetary incentives for staying are being told they can’t promote or give $ increases if associates attendance record is below 60%. Denied….. Leaders can no longer manage their own budget. HR has to approve everything beforehand and routinely squashes plans to facilitate Hess retention incentives.

It won't change until more people leave... on my way out very soon hopefully (either with a new job or with a severance package)

Pay raise chart given to managers:
100% attendance -> 1% increase
80% -> 0.5%
60% and below -> 0.0%

Office Space...the "flair" scene...if you only do the minimum 60% in office, you are a marginal associate full stop. You must have a full five days weekly serving of FB KoolAid to be smiled upon and be rewarded for your obedience. The company has become a cartoon.

It's been true for a while. Most if not all requests from managers get denied. Especially any promotion with a salary adjustment.

I feel bad for the middle managers honestly. They are in a no win situation. I have a great manager and that's the only reason I've stayed this long, but watching them scratch and claw to get their employees anything is just painful to watch.

If you were going to write a book about how not to manage in this date/time, Fiserv would be case study 1A to read. It's really something watching them make terrible decision after terrible decision.

It is 100% true. Our leader talked about it on their all staff call.
