Why doesn’t Schwab just dr-g test their existing employees? That would probably thin out the herd of folks they wanna lay off. No offense but they have rules for new hires but not existing employees. Thoughts?

In AS, they will start requiring people to come in the office 5 days a week for CD1 integration starting next week. Those without medical accommodations and refuse to not come I to the office, managers are instructed to take corrective action.

When you have to lay someone off, the least you can do is be kind about it and do it as quickly and as painlessly as possible. Don't make all of us wait around for our fate to be decided. That's unnecessarily cruel.

I think the current state of the job market is the only reason we aren't seeing an even higher rate of resignations. I think many people that survive the cull will be looking for new roles in 2024.

Which IO area and leader is the worse? I see each MD have their favorites and protect them even if they cross the lines with employees. CP, DL and MM to start with say they team players but are only in it for themselves.
