Don't hold out hope that once these layoffs are done it's back to business as usual. I know some people think this and I feel sorry for them. Layoffs at Schwab are not something temporary. This will keep happening, folks! This is our new normal. You need to accept that there is no "after layoffs," anymore.

You're right. It is a cycle for this place. TDA had very few layoff events and they were very small. I never knew anyone affected. You hardly heard about them at all around the office. Go back on this board and you'll see Schwab loves layoffs. In the interest of keeping it clean..Walt and the EC get giddy around this time.
