I'm biding my time

I'm upskilling and waiting for a better job market. In the meantime, I'm doing the bare minimum at 3M. No overtime, no weekends, no taking on extra tasks that need to be done right away (I'm always so, so busy)...nothing but what I'm paid to do. I've... — read more

Solventum Name

The Motley Fool discussed the spin off of 3M Medical, including the choice of the name Solventum. Like many, they do not like the name and said the name made them think of chemicals. I would love to know who is responsible for picking this name? I... — read more

Gibbons

Visiting the Red Wing plant today. They get to tote the upcoming automation. Based on that leaked layoff plan I'd imagine more automation coming to all plants to reduce staff. Anyone know the deets for visit?

3M Annual Meeting

I encourage everyone to vote NO to all board members re-election on the form sent to all stockholders. Let's send a message to the Board that they have been seriously negligent in their responsibilities to the shareholders.

No respect for employees

Managers are rude and unprofessional (which tells you a lot about who gets promoted, by the way) and they are quick to take credit for the work you did. Not that anybody above them cares. I have never worked for a company that showed as little... — read more

The April Purge

Brown wasn’t pulled out of retirement to rebuild what’s left of 3M. Mike will execute on the April reductions and then slither into hiding where he will continue to gain wealth until the turnip that is 3M is finally squeezed dry.

New CEO going to change Work your way?

Just curious if this new CEO is going to mandate people to come to the office like other companies are already doing. I know work your way was a MR thing. Sure working from home benefits the employee but given how 3M is doing I don't think it's good... — read more
