No interest in earnings?

Most would agree the quality of information here has suffered as a new tier of disgruntled workers came on board. Perhaps alongside that came an exodus of good finance thinkers. It’s sad that on this earnings call day there is no discussion on that... — read more

The Xerox Shell Game

Here we go again! Put a ball under one of three cups, move the cups around, guess where the ball is. Xerox is establishing 3 businesses to drive growth. You get the point. What's next, three card monte, a ponzi scheme, pig in a poke?

Bldg 111 - non-holiday occupancy

I consistently notice less than 50 cars total when observing all 3 bldg 111 parking lots. “Covid-19” might explain until you notice the high percentage of people that are offline all day.

Ursula Burns?

I worked briefly at Xerox when Jeff Jacobsen had just left and John Visentin was hired. From this board, I've seen lots of mixed opinions on Ursula Burns, but find it interesting that her identity is still so tightly associated with Xerox, so... — read more

I miss the good old days

Remember when working here was something to be proud of? When Xerox was a respected name and everybody knew about it due to the quality of its products and not for layoffs and failures, as the situation is now? When it was an asset instead of a... — read more

Better to be unemployed?

A friend / ex-colleague got laid off last year and still hasn’t found a new job. If I was in her shoes, I know it would be a terrible situation for me and I intended to comfort her, so I was really surprised when I saw that she was not worried at... — read more

I am officially leaving that sinking ship!

Oh, the long sigh of relief I am having now... like the cruise ship leaving port, the noisy city slowly growing less loud and disappearing altogether to a blessed silence....Seagulls and waves. I honestly feel like that. That and escaping prison... — read more

How am I the lucky one?

I haven't visited this forum since I was laid off more than a year ago. It breaks my heart to come here after so long to see that not only things haven't improved, they've become even worse. I really feel for my colleagues who are still there and... — read more

Vacation time

I got transferred over to xerox with 25 years experience. Supposed to get 6 weeks per xerox vacation time. I get 4 weeks because they are going off when we were bought by GIS. Complete bull sh!t and seems unethical

401k voya hysteria...for no reason

I did my homework. Found the fees paid to conduent (it took me a while to hunt them down) and the new ones in the Voya prospectus. For my own mix I will actually see a .0003% DECREASE annually (which is peanuts for sure). Everyone needs to do their... — read more

Glassdoor must have taken it down since I don't see it anymore but there was a hilarious interview review recently posted for a Software Engineering Manager. The writer said that Xerox tried to recruit them based on it's name in the industry but no... — read more

Xerox and the competitors

It’s clear to me that we’re doing badly because the industry is generally in bad shape, but that we’re doing even worse than our competitors (prove me wrong) and I can’t accept that. Simply, without a clear vision, I am afraid that no measure... — read more

I just got the notification that the Xerox 401k is moving to Voya. I’m not familiar with them personally but there seem to be concerns about high management fees when I google them. Anyone have any info or insight?

Start your own business after Xerox?

I’ve thought about this a lot because I am tired of working for corporations and would like to try something new. Life isn’t work, work pays the bills, you expect anything more from a large global corp you are a fool. If you want to enjoy ‘work’... — read more

2020 is proof that Xerox has no future

As the world goes paperless, Xerox - a company whose core businesses are printing and copying - should be noted as a declining “tech” company that has not innovated or pivoted their business in any meaningful way. These are the bad times in... — read more

I realize without equipment sales you have no need for service so obviously they are equally important. Can't then understand why they are not treated as equally important. After all service contract revenues is really what keeps this company afloat... — read more

15 December layoffs

Sleazy Xerox had to keep employees until 15 December to keep their US COVID government money. Layoffs in the US begin today.
