Abuse and harassment of female temp workers at Xerox Canada?

Is it common for female temp contractors to complain that they are being verbally abused, intimidated and felt fear for not meeting quotas at Xerox Canada?

There were many female staff who complained to me that when they don't meet quotas, such as the faulty scanner or not reaching the unrealistic targets, they get yelled at and they feel like they are being abused.

However, the Canadian Xerox staff proper are talked to as if they are angels and goddesses who have no faults and cannot be criticized lest you have a target on your back.

To 1a5pTfhE's point: I had been an employee, quit for personal reasons, then came back contract as an engineer. Most people treated me the same as before, but there was at least one person who was very condescending, and straight out told me I could make no decisions because I was a contract. Very demoralizing, and from a business point of view, not good for Xerox bottom line. I did eventually get rehired. I am sorry to hear things have not changed with regard to contracts.

Contractors are generally viewed as one small step above dog $h-t. I am on my fifth contract here. My observation is that Xerox direct employees view me as "not in the club" and, thus, they treat me differently. Xerox employees I don't work for try to give me orders, even if they are technicians and I am an engineer.

What do you expect when XRX brings in patriarchy to the company and focus only on the patriarchy and profits? They don't care about women.

Yeah why are you singling out female temp workers and Canada. That’s the MO across all xerox factions and any country. Have to make the c suite look good so shareholders keep investing and so they keep getting their bonuses. You could put a monkey in those roles at c suite and they manage strategy better.
