Splunk vs Datadog

Can anyone tell here why Cisco has chosen rather Datadog. Datadog could have been better alternative. Heard HPE is trying to buy Datadog irrespective of the higher valuation compared to HPE itself.

The impact of too frequent layoffs and reorgs

I would like to see numbers. I just can’t imagine high turnover, frequent layoffs and reorganizations actually improve performance. Morale has been shaky, uncertainty is not a great performance booster, while post-reorg/layoffs adjustment periods and... — read more

Cisco is not seen as competition

I was part of the LR’s this year, and honestly, it’s the best thing that could’ve happened to me. Why? Higher salary, stock options, no politics, room for creativity, ELT members who actually know what they’re doing, and a tech-driven company—it’s... — read more

Cisco has become a creativity ki-ler

This place thrives on toxicity, stifles innovation, and will drain every ounce of your creative spark. Get out while you can, because the job is certainly not worth losing your soul over.

Cisco needs refresh or it will simply die out

Why is there so much resistance to coming up with new ideas and directions, and to integrating younger people into the company? Having a high turnover of newcomers has really become damaging for the future of Cisco.
