New attendance policy

Has anyone heard that if you work over your schedule you get a half of point and if you take a little longer on lunch you get a half of point too

Personnel Coordinator/Training Coordinator

There have been many posts here that say the PC and TC positions are being combined. We were not told that in our meeting. We were told there was "no information yet on the TC." (Ominous music) If the positions are being combined, it doesn't seem... — read more

All managers from each market will be called to a waterfront meeting. Then the announcement will be made to “release the Kraken”. Whoever returns from the meeting keeps their job. This eliminates favoritism, nepotism, the good old boy club, racism... — read more

How do Vision center managers fall under this? I have to guess we are not eligible since we do not have to put a schedule in the system. Yet, we are hourly managers.

Age of Associates and Managers involved in layoffs

I have it under good authority that the President of Walmart, although well in his 50's, has made the decision to layoff Associates and Management that are over 39. Possibly, he thinks by laying off people over 39, will improve his efforts to catch... — read more

Walmart introduces bonuses for good attendance

Interesting info in this article. These bonuses are not bad for the ones that don’t call in sick every time we don’t feel well. For the ones that try to avoid work this way, don't think even money can be much of a motivation.
