Attendance policy

Yeah, I know, it’s from Reddit, but it looks pretty legit. Allegedly the source is a Facebook group for salaried managers.

Highlights: reduction to five points allowed before termination, but everyone company-wide can now annually earn up to 48 hours of protected PTO that can be used to authorize absences. PTO tenure bands adjusted slightly.

And it will now take 41.05 worked hours for anyone full time with less than three years of service to earn 1 hour of regular PTO.

The new policy is 5 points instead of 9. Five points applies to new hires that haven't been with the company 180 days, as well. Calling out on select weekends or holidays count for 2 points. Apparently, there will still be half points for being tardy or leaving early.

It goes in effect February 2, 2019. Current points will reset to 0.

Attendance is also now tied to MyShare. Zero occurrences give 125%, 0.5-1.5 occurrences give the normal 100%, 2-2.5 occurrences give 75%, 3-3.5 occurrences give 50%, and 4-4.5 occurrences lose the bonus completely.
