I am new on the cyber team but all i can say is wow. The mismanagement on this team is scary. I heard the last one was bad, but is everyone ready for another cyber attack?

Russ Girling layed off 20% of management at TC back in 2015. Let us hope he leads the charge to do the same at Suncor.

There is a rumour that Suncor may divest some of the higher OPEX SAGD assets. Petro-China is the likely suitor as it may offer some synergies. Anyone have experience working with Petro-China?

I love how our federal government is outraged over Bell layoffs. Justin Trudope calling it a “garbage decision”. But not a peep last summer when Suncor fired over 1,500 professionals.

Another round of layoffs are headed our way. The last round didn’t achieve the desired cost savings so there are a lot more workforce cuts coming. Expect to hear something before the end of February.

People are more and more miserable here and more are looking to leave if they can. A once great company has turned into a shadow of its former self.

In an effort to reduce per barrel cost, there is a deal in the works to divest MacKay River to Strathcona Resources. Rumoured to close before AGM.
