To those of you who lost your jobs this past week … my condolences. Freddie laid me off summer 2023. Sure it hurt at first but looking back I am thankful to be away from such a toxic company. Suncor thinks it is big stick when comes to dealing with licensors, suppliers, contractors, etc. but reality is they are only big in Canada. Unlike multi-nationals like Shell or Chevron, they are stuck in this country and have to deal with federal government emissions cap. So long after Freddie has returned to the US and Elliott has cashed out, there will be those poor shmucks trying to polish this tu-d believing it is a Great Place To Work !!

Ya and then they lay people off to save money on the RSUs!
Suncor HR are a$$holes. They use RSUs to convince people to accept lowball offers with that carrot at the end of a three year stick. BEWARE !!
Layoffs are underway. To be completed by mid December in order to avoid paying out RSUs.
