Layoff announcement in April in Q1 earnings call

The current narrative aound Harmonized Product Operating Model is to make SAP more efficient. However, this narrative is being abused to promote incompetent HR managers who will help fire product owners, designers, agile coaches and other roles to... — read more

SAP Culture

Bravo SAP, its looks like it succeeded in reducing the great culture at SAP by corporate manipulation by trying to sc--w people out of their bonuses. Shame on SAP and its old German software.

How are RSUs handled during layoff? (US)

Can anyone say definitively how unvested Move and Grow RSUs are treated during a layoff in the US? Heard a rumor that they all vest at Termination, which seems too good to be true and different than what other tech companies in US do.

Hiring or Layoffs?

Looks like we’re hiring (poaching) Sales roles. There was a note going out about paying double referral fees. Does anyone know if that means the company isn’t able to conduct layoffs?

Concerned about your lousy salary increase?

Klein received €19 million ($19.9 million) in 2024—a staggering 165% increase from the previous year, according to a company filing published on Thursday. Meanwhile, our salaries and bonuses...

Where do things stand now ?

SAP's Board cleverly kept the door open in 2024 for further Headcount changes. The statement from the Board was simply that Headcount numbers would continue to be evaluated thru 2025 - therefore let none of us be caught with our heads down as we... — read more

VERP in the future?

Has anyone heard that the VERP package will be offered in the future -- in 2026 or 2027?

MOVE RSU Program, how does this work

sometimes I get MOVE RSUs and sometimes I dont. Can someone who knows for certain how the program works explain it? how many get chosen from a team? how do they decide values? are there minimums and maximum requirements for the values and the number... — read more

Any updates on layoffs?

Besides the low pay rises, reduced bonuses going around since the strong stock price performance, has there been any news of restructurings and layoffs? I am applying aggressively at the moment in anticipation for something bad if it were to happen. — read more

2.4% Salary Round

Clearly 3,500 people leaving in 2024 wasn't enough, now management needs more people to quit or at least switch teams. I really pity all the L1 managers that have to share the news to their teams who expected something normal or better after such a... — read more

So many people are looking for a way out

What happened to this place? SAP was THE company to work for once upon a time. We all loved it here. Now, every single person I talk to is trying to find a way out. If the job market were any better, SAP would be dealing with a massive talent exodus... — read more

Any thoughts on this announcement? More leadership buyouts?

DeepSeek and its impact on operating cost control

As DeepSeek beats almost all LLMs and is about 1/20th the cost, is SAP's cost cuts in favour of future AI investments justified? All AI stocks will tank now and will be forced to offer a similar pricing model as DeepSeek to stay relvevant. Even if... — read more

Q4 & Year end results

Concur: What is the end game?

10 years later and still not fully integrated with SAP. Different CRM, orgs, leadership, governance, legal etc. Does SAP not have the will to finalize this merger or is the plan to spin it off?

SAP is now fully focused on the Stock price

All I know is SAP is now fully focused on the Stock price. It's clear the Board is of the opinion that there are way too many people working for SAP and probably half of the 100,000 employees are in high cost locations. This they will bring an end... — read more

Stop complaining

This is just a shout out. I bi—ed at everyone and was told two years ago if I don’t like it to leave. I want to let everyone know that two years later, I am watching tv all day and no one calls me because of my phone expertise in Sap Hana.

I have never seen such a sh-t show

Hard to see this ending well. This board and leadership are completely incompetent. If anyone understood CK's email please summarise it. Embarrassing. 2025 will be the year of crash and burn.

I'm cautiously optimistic

SAP hasn’t been the same company for a while, but I’m seeing some positive changes. I think 2025 might bring us closer to where we were a few years ago, before layoffs and forced attrition became the norm. I could be wrong, but I’ve decided to stay... — read more

Consolidation is first and foremost about HC reduction

You all want to believe the combination won’t affect you — until it does. This is what happened when EMEA north and south combined and amazing leaders with 20 years’ experience were shown the door. Sadly, many of you in N.A. will lose your jobs and... — read more

E-CSP gone

All E-CSP roles are gone, who will do their work

And so it begins -- consolidating the Americas

Happy New Year! Guess I better get my resume in tip-top shape since the writing is now on the wall for all US and Canada folks! Consolidating the Americas into one region is very ambitious, since there is literally nothing that the US/Canada has in... — read more

5 days RTO mandate announced in January?

These are probably just rumors, but I wouldn't put it past them to announce the next RTO , now 5 days in the office, as a soft layoff, just like Amazon did. Has anyone heard anything else?

What a difference a year makes... or does it really??

Last January 24 SAP announced a 2 billion euro ($2.17 billion) restructuring program impacting 8,000 employees so it could focus on AI. We had 107,602 full-time employees at the end of December 2023 (according to SAP press info) . CK said that... — read more
