Rumor is l3 is buying tactical air support

According to Aviation week teamed with John Mega, former CSW President, and others to LGL Systems Acqusition. $1B to $350m business acquisitions being targeted. Seems to me similar to how L3 got its start

Why is it that so far only L3 facilities are being closed ? Anyone ?

All positions to be eliminated and line moved to Mason. Not sure where it will be shoehorned in as we are already out of floor space.

Thoughts? Any L3 Layoffs 2020? Any news or rumors?

That's it... The rumor on the street is that L3Harris will be acquired by Cessna. They have money, we need money - so, it'll happen IMHO. Now, let's wait and see what Cessna does.

Harris directed org changes coming next week in many departments, mostly just realignments. There will likely be some VP and director retirements, likely no impacts to individual contributors except for who your upstream is.

President and VP HR were walked out at L3 T&RF today by corporate HR and security. The president was replaced with 2 GM's (2 sites) reporting to Sector. Any other executive layoffs?

Seems l3 salt lake has survived the merger. Now we can all take a breath and be confident we have are jobs at least for a year or maybe more.

Just heard that current L3 management will be replaced by Harris management. It sure would be a welcome change considering the pay vs value of l3 managers. Could this be part of the layoffs coming in August l?

Just heard that CSW is getting ready for lay-offs. Scheduled to be complete by end of August.

There are several positions that are in Londonderry NH that were originally under L3 Technologies 4 months ago but are now under Harris Corporation. Are these positions still valid? They are showing up on indeed.
