It’s going to be interesting when management sees they’re not going to hit the goal for attrition. The pandemic panic hires aren’t going anywhere. They know leaving fidelity means never working in a corporation again.
It doesn’t make sense to punish us further because management hired the wrong people into high positions rather than laying them off.

So is the firm just cleaning up the unqualified people that were promoted over being fired during the pandemic? Those are the only people I know who are overpaid. Everyone else doesn’t make what they’re worth

Thanks for your free overtime. Remote work saved PNC during the pandemic. Online banking rolled out to over 11 million customers. Acquiring BBVA and FirstBank. Record revenue and growth. A record high stock price this year. What do we get out of it? RTO5 and an increase that most likely wouldn’t even cover parking fees for 60 days. Really 1.25%…. 1.5%. I haven’t heard anyone get over 2%. I guess this is what brilliantly boring means for employees. Why are we not hearing about this from CVX health & medical, particularly since there is so much travel to and from India in our employee and contractor population?
What is the company doing about curtailing or cancelling altogether travel? This is how it started with the previous pandemic, and this virus has a very high mortality rate.
