What other companies are people applying to that provides remote work?
Fiserv needs to modernize to a Product / UX centric model
The focus is on short-term quick wins - over sell to get the client & then the client funds the solution (that they’ve been told already exists). And then technology teams struggle to deliver, because Fiserv is a bunch of acquisitions, that were... — read more
How many slackers are left on your team?
Knowing Fiserv's MO, hardworking employees are gone and slackers are still here. Am I wrong?
I don't feel like it's over
I thought I'd feel some great relief once Wednesday was done, but I don't. There's still a knot in my stomach and a pressure in my chest and I still can't sleep. I can't trust anybody who says it's over because we've been burnt so many times. I know... — read more
@Confirmed_Souces_Say
Do you even work here or are you just naive. Layoff was not performance based just like pay/merit is not. Zero reward for performance so why would lay offs be based on performance. When VP level managers don't even get a chance to help guide these... — read more
What departments and years of service were impacted?
If you or someone in your department were RIF'd, what department were you in? Also, how many years had those who were let go with Fiserv? Any close to retirement?
When NOzT to sign your severance package
you intend to sue your employer after your termination The severance package is not sufficient, you do not have legal representation, it would unduly restrict your professional future, and you do not fully understand the agreement. — read more
Layoffs will continue next week?
Is this true? Through next Wednesday, I'm hearing. Since I looked two hours ago it's gone from 731 to 736 fired in the US. Sorry to bear bad news but you're not safe yet. Good luck to everyone.
LAY OFF ENDED?????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Have the layoffs concluded for now, or are they expected to continue throughout the rest of the week?
Frank looks soo tired
Looks like the energy was su-ked out of him at the latest locker room. How inspiring!
Locker Room
Remember, about 7% of our fellow staff have been let go in the last 48hrs. The week before Thanksgiving, and the month before Christmas. But Frank thought it important to spend $150k-$200k to bring Michael Phelps in to talk. Nearly half a million... — read more
Gross
The amount wasted on Deion and Phelps could have saved at least 3 jobs. Disgusting.
Fiserv
Got laid off yesterday with 3 other members of my team, 2 were done in April (that was a secret layoff).
The Leader
The guy at the top is the problem. He comes from an era in the banking industry when pens were on chains and executives believed that all tellers stole money from the drawer. The distrust of employees was engrained in their thinking and probably... — read more
I am from VISA INC. but we are sailing same boat as you guys!
Looks like FISERV is worst than i thought. Visa is no better. If it makes things a little better, visa is paying 1year=1week severance! I can't beleive that. I guess FRANK and RYAN are siblings. They can shut the fintech and start a sla-ghter house! — read more
Recently Impacted in a Downsizing Event
As a newer associate, the environment at Fiserv is toxic and abusive. Hundreds of people on leaves mostly due to stress from the bullying. Always feeling threatened and live silently in fear of the layoffs. Those who have been around a long time... — read more
Is the bulk of it over?
I'm hoping that the majority of the affected employees have already been notified and all that's left for Wednesday is to reach out to those who were not available for whatever reason (PTO, sick leave, or whatever other reason). What are the chances... — read more
....What NOT to say
I know everyone is trying to be "positive" or what have you - but it is a tad rude and insensitive to tell people who just lost their jobs right before the holidays. offered a pi-s poor severance that "the grass is greener" and you are better... — read more
not sure what title to put since we know what this is about
To those who got let go, I am so sorry. I know a lot of you worked very hard to get to where you are - long hours, weekends, etc. and this is the treatment you get. I'm not going to say "let this be a lesson to not overwork" because clearly that... — read more
Good luck former Fiservants
What a POS company. Get out while you can. They don’t care about you. Was looking at new roles anyways so at least I’ll get paid to search now. My old team is down to 4 people now each doing the work of 3+ lol. What a joke of a company. — read more
Best of luck
Best of luck to the ones who are gone. From what I hear the grass is greener. You are all very marketable. You have great skills to sell another company with better pay and benefits. Hold your heads high.
Office Hours, Sapience and PTO are the factors
It might be different for each team and department but for my team, the factors were, not logging in the required 6-8 hrs in the office, Sapience data showing very low numbers, and high number of PTO days (even though they have unlimited PTO)
RIFs just made me work less
Long time OFD employee here. Went through probably 20 rounds of layoffs during my 20 years at OFD. Last 5 years with FB at the helm. I can tell you my work ethic got worse after every round of layoffs. You are only a # to them. They give zero... — read more
Four senior-level ICs

Holiday Season is upon us
And of course Fiserv is laying off people. This company cares little for its Clients and less for their employees. We are all expendable. Sad.
Associates in the Analyst Program
Anyone know if they are they laying off employees who are apart of the analyst program (recent college graduate rotations)?
I complied with everything RTO-related
It didn’t matter. Now I’m angry at myself that I even bothered. Oh, well.

Does it Really Matter to comply?
