Hock is full of cr-p

Hock (or, more likely, one of his ghostwriters) just published this blog post - https://www.broadcom.com/blog/broadcom-and-vmware-investing-for-customer-value. If you are reading this, regulators and analysts, please don't believe this garbage from... — read more

Broadcom Benefits? - Less USA Centric

Just thinking maybe this could be a good thing if it makes VMware less USA centric. Too many decisions made are USA biased. Europe Explore was more of a success than the USA version. Maybe this is the time to make VMWare a global company, rather... — read more

I thought they wouldn't care

I was quite surprised by the manager's reaction after I gave notice. I thought that this company no longer cares about people leaving, but it seems that is not the case at all. They seem to prefer to keep people until the last day and then get rid... — read more

So many miserable individuals

However, you are all still employed while thousands of tech professionals are being laid off. How about expressing some gratitude? I'm not suggesting you have to enjoy your job; I don't. I'm also not saying you shouldn't worry about the future. But... — read more

Hock loves us now

Hearing that execs are screaming about how much Hock loves all of the BUs now. Wonder if it has anything to do with the regulatory filing about being untruthful not getting reprimanded.

Are people really hoping the merger won't go through?

It seems ridiculous that people think this still may not happen. Sale of VMware: One rich guy asked another rich guy if he could buy his company, then a bunch of other rich guys said yes, so they could all get richer.

Timeline after this?

Does anyone know what happens next and the possible timeline? https://www.reuters.com/article/vmware-m-a-broadcom-eu-idTRNIKBN2S51MN

Hock’s BS blog postings

Does anyone believe the stuff Hock is putting out about not raising prices, caring about partners, etc? I don’t! Seems like pandering to the regulators before approvals. I’m curious if he also did this kind of cr-p before his other acquisitions? — read more

Better leave now

Here's the problem now. Now your competition for any role is small compared to the time after layoffs. You may end up competing with 100s if not 1000s (depending on the size of layoffs). Your chances def. won't be the same then. Your severance will... — read more
