Word from a Raleigh Site Exec is 20,000 U.S. employees were cut. My understanding is U.S. headcount at end of 2019 was around 50,000 So that means about 40% of U.S. workforce affected. Ouch!

Austin MSC Laid off
I worked marketing in the MSC and was laid of/RA'd today as well. Real kick in the gut and super sh–ty all around. I can only hope IBM gets some negative PR about this.
IGF Layoffs
Was about to hit my 1 year of employment as a software dev in IGF. Got the message today that i'm laid off. I'm in my 20s and was an intern prior to my hire. Was told this decision was not based on performance.

Was Canada spared?
