Enormous pressure

I don't know about you, but ever since I started working here a few years ago, I have never been under more pressure than lately. Anyone else? I assume that it is a tactic to get as many people as possible to leave voluntarily... I think that... — read more

Contractor Furloughs

Hello, I am an full-time employee at HP. I joined the company under one year ago. Today our manager informed us that half my team (who are contractors) will be furloughed for the month of September. I was surprised to hear about this since I though... — read more

There is still a lot of talent here

Yes, I think that HP still, despite everything, has a lot of capable, good employees, but the question is how long it will last until they also leave. Is this leadership able to do anything to retain them? Maybe it's already too late for HP... — read more

Stepping stone or...

This place served as a stepping stone for me. I immediately knew that I would not stay here for long, that I would only stay until I gained a little more experience and upgraded my skills. It surprises me how many people say that they completely... — read more

Going to a non-tech industry

I saw here many people writing that after their experience at HP they switched to a non-tech industry. I'm actually thinking about it myself. However, it would feel very odd because I have been in this industry for a long time. That's why I... — read more

It would take a miracle

This company no longer resembles the one where I started working. I'm counting the days until retirement and I'm looking forward to it. I don't believe that this place will ever be even close to what it was before. I wonder what kind of miracle is... — read more

Work furloughs are back

It has been 2 years since my last 10 day work furlough at HP. I am a CW and since 2018 there have been yearly work furloughs. Most of them are 10 days per quarter, either once or twice a year. This time I got a one week notice of the first work... — read more

Recession Coming, Look out HP!

Why is HP no longer innovative?

I don't have many complaints, but if someone asked me what I despise the most about this company - I would say that one of the things is that this is no longer an innovative company. I wonder where all the innovation has gone here?

Is it getting any better?

The last time I visited this forum was more than half a year ago, when I left the company. In the meantime, several more of my close colleagues have left. Nothing seems to be getting better here? I would love to go back just for one day to see what... — read more

Toxic culture and environment to its very core

Nepotism and cronyism are rampant throughout the company, from the lowest to the highest level. This means there is no chance of any upward mobility unless you know the right people. Don't even get me started on pay disparity. I've been here for four... — read more

WFR Do not sign waiver and relinquish rights

WFRed? Suggest that you make sure your 60 day benefit equivalent payment is paid and your COBRA is active for 90 days. Dont sign the Waiver until you make sure it is all paid. Looks like HP is shirking their legal duties for WARN. Surprise!
