I am validating my decision. And I am checking to see if the 2019 promised 15% layoffs in 3 years will happen, which was part of my EER decision. So far that appears off the table. Like anything you have a relationship with 25 years, part of you will always care.

I accepted the EER 2.5 years ago after dodging WFRs for 25 years every quarter. I grew tired of watching coworkers getting WFR'd and being part of a business that was just a commodity with visions of grandeur that never materialized. After HP missed the bus with 3D printing I was glad to get an EER. I am happily employed in another corporate business In the financial sector. Best of luck to those on HPI Titanic.
