Heard more layoffs in Bartlesville last week

Talk amongst the customers at the unemployment office was that another 6 or so were laid off at Bartlesville last week and that will continue to have more with a few here and there as projects completed or discontinued, or whatever reason. Per other... — read more

EMPLOYEE SELECTION CRITERIA USED TO DETERMINE LAYOFFS -

I wish this was made clear for all employees. I was just told by an existing supervisor that they were all told only poor performers were let go. Not true. Not only not true, but when I was let go HR told me that was just a rumor even though that was... — read more

Is everybody done here now?

I recently received my severance pay and have now gotten everything that COP was obligated to pay. I hope everybody is doing well. I am done checking this site. Good day.

Anyone received RSU's yet?

My Merrill Lynch account still shows no update after termination date. I called HR two weeks ago and was told they would appear back on your account in 2/3 weeks. Anyone heard of anything yet?

Less than 1000 laid off in April in Houston?

A current employee mentioned this number a few weeks ago; not that many, all in either exploration or technology. Really messed me up to think I was that easy to pick off. No wonder COP hasn't felt the need to announce to its shareholders since the... — read more

RSU'S ?

Has anyone seen the RSUs vest? HR folks said it would take 2-3/weeks for them to reappear, after they disappeared from my account on my termination day. It has been three weeks, and I am still seeing big zeroes next to all of them. Any ideas?

Conocophillips...Enron with Less Competent Management!

Why no announcement yet?

I was one of those killed on April 1. Have been roughly treated and am still very surprised that COP has not yet leveled with the outside world that they have done layoffs (I don't mean the tiny ones in Norway, Canada, or B'ville). Just one cryptic... — read more

Severance Guidelines?!?

The Mid-Continent BU of the U.S. lower 48 seems to have laid people off based upon the VP's personal agenda and/or age & salary basis. Did other areas do the same, or was this a personal decision by a "leader"who refuses to take any personal... — read more
