Cisco was once the company that built the Internet. It's now rudderless having been led by people without a vision for the future.

Literally every LinkedIn update I am seeing showing "Ready to Work" updated profiles from people who have accepted the Cisco severance package has been a white middle-aged or older male. Were women or people of color also impacted?

All those impacted sound off with where in the organization you are.

I know contractors are always the first on the chopping block, but still unpleasant when the axe falls. No package, of course, just a conversation with the recruiters to hopefully find somewhere else before the quarter ends.
