Is the LR package the same across the company? Even for sales or other non-technical roles?
Yes 6months pay + 6 months COBRA coverage paid in cash + RSUs early vesting until March 10, 2021 + 1 week per year over 10yrs at Cisco (2 weeks per per over 20yrs) + placement services for 4 months. It's true. Cisco has been generous! Thank you!
6 month pay+cobra looks oo generous. i don't think the fran and chuck team will ever do that. They will give millions to racial issues, but oh no not to hardworking softare engineers.
6 month package - were you offered CEP and rejected that?
What about for employees with more than 10 years of service - will there be more weeks tagged on?
Does the US package 6 months / 6 months insurance is same for all employees irrespective of their time in cisco ?
I joined cisco in august last year and it's 1 year and 3 months and I have a 1:1 with manager at 9 PT today..

Of course several of us have standing 1:1s with our managers today so the suspense is k–ling us. An RTP CXer on my team just got tagged a few minutes ago.. there's an "optional choice" package where you leave now and take the tax hit this year, and then a "forced" option later. No details on the differences yet
@qks+17jnpZrp To think that was the area that had offered me a RFT position in August, converted it to a contractor position because of layoffs in August, and couldn't comprehend why I turned it down. It was such an easy decision after being strung along for 8 weeks through numerous interviews.
Got chopped along with 2 others in my team in RTP CX. Now only 5 dudes are left. Now throwing out anything with Cisco's name or logo on it beginning with that unused linksys wireless router collecting dust in the attic. Worst company ever!!

If the 6 months salary/ 6 months paid Cobra/4 months Randstad outplacement services is correct, it's almost the same as the early retirement when you consider that you are working and getting paid two months beyond when the early retirement people left. It's basically one month less as a whole.
6 months is good. Randstadt is better the Lee Hecht Harrison. But still not a great service. Most of what they do is looking for contract work, especially now. One question is whether you are eligible for unemployment after 6 months.
If you take full package and exit, can you be out /today/ or are they going to make you drag it out?
