I know many are in shock over their stores closing and some are panicking right now, but you need to know that you'll be okay. I don't know one person who was laid off or fired from BBBY who did not end up in a better position with a better job. Now... — read more

Closing List?
Is there a published list of all of the planned closures circulating around?
Are you surprised?
I pretty much knew that the store would be closed, but I didn't know it was going to happen this fast. It surprised me! I am absolutely unprepared and that is my big lesson for the future. It's my own fault that I didn't leave earlier. I just hope... — read more

Business model problem
My store has also closed. Honestly, I expected it, I assumed it would happen. I hope everyone affected was prepared to hear such news. What is obvious is that despite everything, despite finding various excuses, from pandemics to other things, the... — read more

Hours cut !
Our hours were cut by 400. We have no staff and the ones scheduled are calling out due to Covid. The few customers we have are angry that there is no one on the floor to help them then when they get up front they have to wait forever to get rung up... — read more
I work in Corporate
There I posted it so it MUST be true!
Make conversion goal or find a new job.
That is the message from the top. But we are out of stock on our best stuff? Oh well, make conversion. But we are running the store with 100’s of hours less than last year? Oh well, make conversion. More people and families are out and about shopping... — read more
No strategy at all
My opinion is that there is no effort to prevent a total debacle, closing stores and cutting employees. Aesthetic beautification of stores (and this is debatable as well) is not and should not be a strategy to prevent bbby from hitting the rock... — read more
Where are we with those 200 stores announced for closing?
It's been a year and a half since Bed Bath & Beyond announced the planned closing of 200 stores over the following two years. I'm wondering how many of that number have been closed already and how many are left to go? It's kind of unnerving never... — read more

This Past Year
This past year I’ve seen my stores hours get cut so much that we lost thousands and thousands in sales simply because there was no one on the floor to sell. I’ve seen the higher ups fumble BTC so badly it was embarrassing. They micromanaged us so... — read more
Not expecting anything good next year
I don't even have to wait for them to announce earnings, because I already know what will happen after that. My store has never done so badly so what can I expect? Surely no one expects anything good. Nobody doubts the store closing anymore. The... — read more
Next year's closings

Nasty customers
Just a quick vent. Our customers think that it is ok to be nasty and belligerent. Yes we are out of a lot of merchandise. You can thank your elected officials and the pandemic on this but do not take it out on the poor 16 year old cashier. Then after... — read more
