It's been a year and a half since Bed Bath & Beyond announced the planned closing of 200 stores over the following two years. I'm wondering how many of that number have been closed already and how many are left to go? It's kind of unnerving never being 100 percent certain that your location will still be standing the next day, week, or month. It'd be nice to remove that threat, at least, from my list of worries.

1385 in Niagara Falls is closing in my area.
Another NJ store manager left for Burlington Stores. Thats 3 in roughly 1 month…

We are going to have one he-l of an inventory with next to zero associates to get it done. My store is having a really difficult time to get associates we do have to come in and help. We can't force them to, some already said they would rather quit. Inventory is going to be really bad.
Are full timers getting lay off? Everyone hours are getting cut.
my store in the midwest just had to slash our hours, even more then we usually do after the holidays. luckily for us we have, including keyholders and myself, roughly 14 employees, so the hours are already kind of cut for us, lol.
I don’t get what is going on anywhere but I’m in Ca and we had to cut hours down to nothing right before Christmas. Never seen that before. So something is up.
I’m not sure about closing but it’s concerning the SM 252 quit the Thursday before Black Friday and the SM right down the road in 316 quit, last day was the Monday before Xmas? What is going on in the central NJ Stores. Those were two of the DMs favorites. But he never operates in a transparent or honest manner.
well, the urgent message on mysource is that stores in 'pre clearance' closing status won't have promo events for christmas decor and food until tomorrow; did they just kind of inadvertently let stores know who's closing? lol
Your concerns about store closings is understood. Unfortunately, the previous 200 store closing announcement is shy of 200 additional closings that will be revealed after the Q3 earnings report on 1/6/22.
