I decided to just lay low until I’m booted

People are either wishing to be laid off or praying to keep their job. I decided neither. Job market really isn’t good, and I think first offshoring is going to bleed us before AI finishes us off. At last that seems to be the plan. I’ll have this... — read more

Layoff question

I’m plan on accepting a new remote position from a competitor but staying on WF until I get my severance. How would they find out?

Travel/Vacation while on non-working notice

Hello, Can you travel or vacation while on a non-working notice or are you supposed to remain available during that time? In a perfect world, I’d like to use part of my eventual non-working notice to travel and then begin to pull in unemployment... — read more

My LOB is states away and quite a few of us are 100% remote all over the country. Maybe next year we all get fired?

Required DEI courses

Last week, I noticed those required DEI courses but with no due date were still lingering on my to-do list. However, today they are now gone - apparently no longer required? Have we turned the corner on some of this DEI nonsense?

Sabbaticals

Apparently BofA offers a sabbatical after 15 years of service. We just need Chase to do the same so that we will ultimately copy it! I could use a sabbatical right about now.

RTO- no longer able to make up days

The guidance we were initially given for meeting RTO requirement was based on hitting a 3 day weekly in office average over a span of 13 weeks, and it would be ok to miss a day every now and then because you could make it up a following week. That... — read more

Non Assigned Location question

I heard there is a flag that notes if you use non Assigned locations 50% of the time. Is that a weekly flag (or is the 50% calculated over the course of a longer rolling period?) Do managers have to do their own digging to see who is non-compliant... — read more

More Accommodations BS

I have had a medical accommodation for years. I have MS; it is not going to go away/get better. With the recent "check-in", I took the form to my doctor, had it filled out completely and sent back to Accommodations. They now have come back with a... — read more

Most Powerful Women in Banking

Stop gas lighting women with the "Most Powerful Women" in banking. Laughable that Tracy Kerrins made the cut. To empower women you gotta actually give them the CEO job, not another Jamie Dimon cronie like Shart.

Perception of those who have been laid off...

It's a really tough job market despite the news coverage. Oddly enough, highest profits ever by most F500 companies, yet most are doing a lot of under the radar layoffs. If you have been laid off, hiring managers think you were a low performer. ... — read more

The perception that Wells Fargo will grow its business once the Federal Asset Cap is removed is highly misleading.

Yes - It will be free to ATTEMPT to grow its business beyond the cap, but this executive team doesn’t know anything about growing a customer service business because they don’t know how to treat people. Is Charlie suddenly going to be focused on... — read more
