They're doing layoffs but not reducing overall headcount. They're taking the axe to US workers but hiring like gang busters in India and the Philippines.

Bank has had a plan for years to reduce 25 percent of the workforce. Get rid of US workers and hire offshore to save money. Follow the sun to provide expanded hours of coverage for various time zones. All about saving money. Does not care about American workers by eliminating jobs.
in my group we actually had people let go in india which was shocking
