Has anyone received results? Action items? Or do we just brush the poor results under the rug?

I can’t wait to give my boss some candid feedback on my last day.
Employee survey is a risk management tool for the leadership to monitor and control any potential red flags among the disgruntled employees. It works just like the Ethics Line, owned and operated by the leadership. How do I know this? I once worked in the HR.
It's workplace abuse. And it is real psychological abuse. That is why this board is so crazy cause we are all trying to get our sanity back!
If it's forgotten about GOOD. literally every time they "take action" it means tormenting us with pointless BS. This is how it works every year:
- Employees tell the execs that they are garbage and their policies are a failure.
- Execs demand that managers fix it by tormenting employees to a degree sufficient that they will never again report the truth in the survey.
- Execs take no beneficial action, give themselves big bonuses for fixing things.
Rinse and repeat.
You want to know employee satisfaction? Look at participation rate then attrition. Don’t let them BS you with attrition reasons nor phony rationale neither! It is the most telling and unbiased metric about leadership competence.
I agree about careful what you wish for. I was on one of the teams for last year’s results and ended up in quite a few meetings. One of the takeaways was people wanted more transparency, so what did leadership do? Schedule biweekly ‘forums’ and ‘ask me anything’ meetings.
Just like Epstein’s client list, the employee survey results have been buried.
Bridget shared that diversity score was good lmao. The In-di-an went all out and vote “diversity is great”. The 90% in-di-an demographic wins every year!
No executive will ever deliver bad news.
Careful what you wish for.
Follow up action items for this is something you do not want to be involved with.
It is a time su-king, pointless excersize that doesn't go anywhere. You will be asked for candid views on the problem, what is really wrong, putting you on the spot.
You can tell them honestly, and suffer the consequences, or you can try and back pedal and downplay the problems because you were stupid to think that openly talking to them would garner change.
Either way, it doesn't bode well for you.
