VMC- VMware on AWS cloud

Hi, is it known what is the business situation of the VMC - VMWare on Amazon cloud activity in Europe. Is it worth joining the sales force of this very specific and narrow activity at this stage? The salary offered sounds tempting but I have no... — read more

All Hands - No EUC Spinoff

Raghu stated in our All Hands that there are NO plans to spin off CB or EUC. Completely contrary to what we are hearing internally by EUC leadership. Thoughts? The lack of similar messaging is frustrating. Who would be more likely to lie?

My prediction for the merger:

EU says yes. UK & US say no. US agrees to remedies after a court battle. UK's CMA wins most appeals, and they'll win when VMware appeals. Of course this is all speculation. The Microsoft-Activision deal will teach us a lot.

TAM!

Do we know if the change to the TAM name is anything to do with Broadcom or Layoffs. It was Technical account manager an industry role. Now Technical adoption manager? Is this used by Broadcom?

Raghu's BS

"Leaders are only leaving because of career progression, not because of anything related to the Broadcom fiasco. Now shut up, and focus on the main thing!"

Is it time to leave tech?

Currently, many, if not all, major tech companies are experiencing layoffs and enforcing return to the office. To add to that, automation is becoming increasingly prevalent, and with the integration of AI rapidly approaching, I don't see many options... — read more

When can we expect a decission from the FTC? Are they any timelines? It‘s more than a year ago that Broadcom announced that they will acquire VMware.

EUC spinoff - when?

The rumor mill would have us believe that EUC will be spun off. Does this same rumor mill have any insight as to when this will happen? Obviously cant be before the sale closes but does it think it will happen immediately? IE, EUC will never be part... — read more

Bonfire of the Vanities

Much of the behavior of management sure seems like the plot of the novel Bonfire of the Vanities. Arrogance, social class, greed and racism.
