It just never comes up! What is your experience? What I have seen, Oracle used it to get rid of long serving employees and not make it look like age discrimination.

As stated in the most recent 10Q this is where we stand. Total estimated restructuring cost is at $609 million out of which $153 million has already been recorded. $456 million remaining through the end of fiscal 2025.

Another wave of Layoff's is might happen in tech sector before the end of this year. Most of these companies have accumulated debts in their balance sheets (Example: Oracle has 14,000+ in its balance sheet).
