Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Team players

I'm starting to wonder if we ever had any at O? Backstabbing is a harsh reality here nowadays.

Very simple this person is a team player. And person wants Oracle to do well. The many posts are about getting rid of the dirt. It’s cheaper to follow rules, regs and the law instead of covering up corrupt mess. SEC needs to be involved but before ….. Oracle needs to investigate this VP and turn him over to the authorities ,, repeating again do not try to coverup his bad choices. He is responsible for his actions not Oracle. Make him repay the people he has harmed and have him serve the time based on sentencing guidelines . He has clearly created a racketeering charge (prob 10 years) not to mention fraudulent patents (3-5) and taking money for bonuses after firing people (3-5) so that his budget go over and attract red flags. Plus restitution.
His expense report has likely been used for personal expenses. (3-5)

Let Oracle use this situation for good and stock price will soar. Setup internal acctg controls for everyone else.

If Oracle can’t do this then, we will contact the authorities for the good of the company. . The crime has to stop. Upper mgmt has been lied to. There are more details which will covered to a letter to upper mgmt.

I'm starting to wonder if you are a team player... My guess is you aren't as evidenced by your post - clearly attempting to sew discord on this MB

You don’t miss a chance to twist facts back to posters. You don’t wonder or care if he is a team player. You just want to scold. what’s wrong with you? Learn to be happy. Control & manipulation never works. Breathe. Let it go. Negativity causes dis-ease.
This makes you look like you are the cause of division. Not productive.
Seriously, you need help.

There are no team players at Oracle, particularly in the management, past and present, both.

The modern corporate world doesn't reward team players. They're an extinct species now.

I worked at Oracle for almost two decades. I was on a few teams. I had some bad experiences with people who were just on their knees for the mgr. I had grown men like my grandfather's age straight up run and tell my manager something I said in a private meeting with him. I actually felt sorry that he was that much of a child. One team I was on, you knew who was a snitch. The people with no talent that thought a pink slip was waiting for them. One woman, let's just say I knew she never left her chair and probably never saw the outside of her house, always looked for a way to snitch or just be a gossip hound. The manger, a very useless male, loved it. He thrived on it. Worst mgr I ever had there. Since promoted. haha. As for the jobs that actually require you to work, I just did my thing and kept my mouth shut. There are a lot of people who are also reliable, but also flat out had two managers steal my work. Both very wimpy men who lapped up the leftover water at the toes of the VPs. I never let myself get to that. A day of reckoning comes for all. If all you care about is money, when the money stops coming in, you're going to be a sad soul.
