Topics regarding layoffs at Fiserv Inc.

Bye!

Well sh-t y'all - 6 years of being the go-to and handling some of our largest clients doesn’t mean sh-t I guess. Burn the ship while it’s sinking I guess. See y'all in therapy!

WFH RIF

Asked my boss and said nothing to worry about. Do the managers know who's being cut or find out when we do?

If this happens, it’s too late.

First you get a meeting invite from your supervisors manager. When you join, HR will join immediately and that’s how you know you’re getting canned. Negotiate your severance, worst they can say is no.

Layoffs currently happening

HR is actively laying off employees in Fiserv offices today. Multiple people were handing in laptops today as of Nov 18th. Watch out!! Rumor has it they are laying off about 7% employees, with an emphasis on RTO.

Are you guys just being pulled in to random meetings with your boss or will it be an HR ping?

The struggles of working at Fiserv

It’s hard to pick the worst part of working at Fiserv these days. It could be the clueless leadership or the garbage pay. Maybe the zero appreciation or how management dodges accountability. Then there’s the dead-end career paths and terrible... — read more

Mediocrity is the standard

I hate what Fiserv has turned into. Mediocrity at its finest. I can’t even blame anyone for phoning it in. Why strive to be a high performer when it means absolutely nothing here? Many have just stopped trying, and I don’t blame them one bit. This... — read more

Rifs

So everyone enjoys gossiping what will happen and drama. But. Does anyone have real rif numbers this year or reason/count of what happened?

RTO drives the talent away

People who can easily find a job elsewhere simply leave. That’s one of the consequences of the RTO as the wholesale attrition scheme. And those are the people that we actually need. Not that the C-suite cares about retaining talent or anything. — read more

Unionisation is the only way

Unionise, unionise, unionise, it’s the only way. Big corporations have fed us cr-p for decades about the big bad unions, purely to make it easier to exploit their workers. Look at the Boeing engineers, they made a plan to build savings and schedule... — read more

Leadership is out of touch with reality

I don't know of another company (and I've worked for quite a few) where leadership is so out of touch with employees and what they do or to be more precise, what they can do. The things they expect versus the things that are realistic are... — read more

If RIFs are around the corner

I say bring it on. I can’t stand working here anymore. I hope they push me out with some pocket money, and I finally do myself a favor by finding another job.

November December rif coming

Fig RIFs are being planned in the next few weeks. upper mgmt is driving it. They are using reports to make decisions—sapience, badge, too many r&rs. Buckle up.

Sapience and Badge Swipes

Has anyone heard of an employee getting fired or reprimanded for not meeting the sapience or badge swipes mandates? I've only seen people get warnings.

KB, since clearly you are reading this.. have some compassion. Yes, companies monitor their employees productivity, that’s not new and we’re not surprised. But, saying “we’ll work 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 hours…. it is what it is” Really? In the same... — read more
