My manager cares, but not a lot she can do even with her title.
It's called the Frankie emasculation effect.
They no longer claim or imply that they're "anonymous", they now only claim they're "confidential".
i.e. they're not even trying to hide the fact they know who said what so it can be used against them later.
When I worked for another company that did surveys they had us log into random computers and do the survey, but with sapience and them knowing what you're doing on your computer ever second it's not anonymous. Even if they didn't track who you are, it falls on your manager and their manager.
